Don't think anyone has denied the game is buggy. It is/was completely unfinished and shouldn't have been released at the time it was.

I can't help but wonder if these 'glitches' are there for a reason, put there by PD for gaining access to areas they may need access to in the future, for whatever reason.

I'd just like to clarify that the reason alot of people really dislike these glitches is because the open lobby is flooded with exploit sessions and makes it really difficult to find a normal race if you want to do some casual online racing. I don' t have a problem with people wanting to earn some quick virtual cash in general.

1. Do the people who are placed second, third, fourth, etc get a payout of credits as well, or is it just the winner?
   
2. Is this exploit possible in the 'Lounge' online lobby sessions in the Community section of GT Life?

This is hilarious, in the SSR7 one we had GT-R cars morphed into space ships, now we have the X2010 morphed into some kind of Jules Verne "Under the Earth" futuristic traveller

Anyway, I plan to use it but not to gain cash (I have plenty of that thank you). I have all the A-Spec career of the game golded and finished thank you and I don't want to REPEAT the game or a few of its races just to unlock the last one (Nurb 24 h - A-Spec level 40 required)

So ... Is this glitch generous in A-Spec points? I assume a "yes" is the answer, but strangely nobody mentioned it so far .

At least SSR7 was a boring track and was only good for the money glitch and a novelty for going as fast as you could. Looking through rooms now when you just want to have a race on the Nordschleife will be a pain.

Agreed, many times over.

No point arguing though lads.

Those using this "to get all the cars d00dz" will argue that having to spend more time looking for a room it is only an inconvenience for those of us who want to race and is therefore not worth them considering.

This is a new angle on the "it doesn't affect your game at all" argument.

More along the lines of "it only affects your game a little bit and my lack of cars and trophies is way more important than any inconvenience caused to you low car count, just want to race L053R5z!!".

I just played shuffle races online during the SSR7 glitch, they are quicker and easier to identify against the glitch flotsam and jetsam and are great fun with the right people.

And if you do want to race at the 'ring and accidentally stumble into one of these dull rooms in error, at least you can potentially get in a couple of real laps while the glitchers are going around, and around, and around, and around, and around, and around, and around in circles under you.

Easy fix: make the payout pot for the race depend solely on the time it took to complete. Fixes glitch and also means we get decent prizes for racing with friends.

That would be just lovely. I'm in my lounge with my friends and just before calling it a night we all go for a 1 lap race at Indy. We do the lap and a few meters before completing it (and the race) we all go to bed, leaving the PS3 on.

One day goes by, we meet again, complete the lap and we all become rich!


(in a way, it's less stupid than grinding. But as all glitches - grinding is nothing but a need caused by a design flaw in the game, therefore a GLITCH - it IS stupid)

To the first question... Yes 2nd, 3rd, etc... get cash & Xp payouts in the millions.... i.e The More the more Laps you make, the more money & Xp you will make...

For the Second Question... Ummm sorry but i just dont know...
