I don't even have any of the capture crap anymore anyways. Got a blingin' Powerbook and junked my computer. Tried to play the other day after not touching it for a long long time, can't even drift consistently anymore.

Hey all, The names Steve and I've been a car fanatic for the majority of my life. I started playing gran turismo when gt3 came out and am now getting into drifting in gt4.

My daily driver

The two car's I've been using for drifting are my Evo and my S4. The Evo uses G-T-4-FAN's settings with aid's on and the S4 uses alittle modified version of those settings although theres still some stuff to sort out with that car.

hiyaz im new... i love drifting but im terrible at it for now....ive got many cars but i mainly use my rx-7 drift tuned and my nissan silvia

The car i use to drift is the 1989 300zx 2 seater (Z32)

Hey everyone, my name's Devin and I'm from Alameda, California in the USA as you can see under my username to the left. I'm 15 years old and I've been playing Gran Turismo since it first came out on the PS1, i own all of the Gran Turismo games exept the rare car manufature' ones. I've been a car enthusiast for as long as i can remember and have been browsing these forums for some time now, but i just recently registered. I just starting drifting yesterday when i saw one of the Team FBI videos which was amazing and i am getting pretty decent now on the DS2. I have yet to get a DFP as I am lacking the cash for one, I should have enough for one in a week or so though, then i can join in on the fun :P.

EDIT: Forgot to say which cars i use for drifting. At the moment i have two drifting cars, my 240SX and my Silvia Varietta. I use my 240SX the most because I have created an awesome setting for it, which is better than any setting i have gotten off this site :P.
 
And the new guys just keep on coming. Guys...get into the DPC's! It DOESN'T matter if you don't win. What matters is that you get some activity in the drift world going for yourself. :)
 
hey guys i'm Sam from suffolk England, i use an evo 4 rally '97 getting some wicked drifts just need to put a bit more power to the rear as i can't get a long drift going.me and slider-s15 know swift drifter06 he goes to our school, bit of a nob always harps on about his damn vanquish!!!not really surprised that he wrote a rap about how good he thinks he is, seems to think he's a gangster(too much GTA San Andreas!!!)bit of a bully to b honest i say all you great drifters out there take him to the cleaners.i found that a good place to get used to your car is special stage route 5 and if you need to brush up then i suggest you go to gymkana course and try to keep your car between the lines/cones that are arranged into a circle. try it out maybe and tell me what you think
 
slider-s15 here. been around for a few months but never did this so here it goes. i live in lakenheath suffolk england and go to the same school as EvO 4 drifter and swiftdrifter06. Evo 4 drifter is a great guy and so im teaching him all i know about drifting. I mostly drive a Mitsibishi Lancer Evolution VIII GSR as my drift car. it has 564bhp with N3's on the front and N1's on the back wraped around speedline 20's. I love this car hope you do to. heres a pic to best introduce me and my ride.
 
Yeah i am probobly the only drifter in GT4 that uses the Dual Shock 2,Or that I cant afford a Wheel and pedal . I have to tell you, I need some help and tips cause it just doesnt seem like my car is drifting correctly. I have a Amuse S2000 GT1 with a setup i got off the internet if any one has any tips please feel free to PM me thanks
 
Hey guys. My aunt bought me a DFP today :)

Did my first lap around the ring in my bmw M5 for a time of 9:44:214. Boy using the dfp is a whole different experience than DS2 but its a whole lot of fun :). I just gotta get the hang of keeping the car in control at high speeds.
 
Hi, i'm still a bit of a noob as far a drifting goes, but I've got to a stage where I can string a few good slides together. I'll probably start posting quite frequently here.

Hello all, been here for a while, but just havent posted much. You might not see much of me, but once i get my ps2 going online with xlink, I look forward to drifting with all of you great people here. Just thought I'd stop by this thread and say Hi.
 
Hi all i am also new at this whole entire thing forum and drift.

i have alwayz wanted to drift in GT4 but i couldnt work out a way so i 4 got about it until i was searching though google for drift videos then this site came up and saw something about drifting.

so i read it and now this is my 3rd day at well trying to drift and i cant seem to get the car setup right but i'll get there some time soon.
 
Hey guys, Im Ben, Ive played GT4 for about 1 year now (Got it last March), and Im starting to learn drifting. The FR drift guide is AWESOME! I cant wait to go and start drifting, I just need to find the right car now...
 
Yea I've been playing GT4 for a while manly normal racing, but I got on this drifting binge and can get enough of it. Haha

I have a 93' RX-7 with the following
-sports exuast system
-original turbo/stage 2 turbo
-racing suspenstion/original suspenstion
-Nitros
-N1 N2 N3 tires
-and more little extra goodies

But no lie i love drifting and i cant wait to get a RX-7 in life so i can take her
to the back roads of Myrtle Beach

Yea I've always liked drifting so i deside to hit it up in GT4. I started drifting in the game for a few days still gotta get my RX-7 setup a little more in-tune.

I can't wait to get my RX-7 in the real world so i can start drifting around my city
 
Hey everyone...I loved GT since the first...I have gt2 skipped 3 and now playing 4. I havent really played all that much until my actual car broke down but just felt the urge to drift. Still needs work on it!

o.k listen i have read some of the dirfting edvice that they showed me and now i have some questions. When they say heel toe does that mean you have to to slow down the car or something
