Daytona takes less than 6 min to finish, I suggest we go back to the new race every 10 min schedule.
That's what I'll be doing starting at :30.

Just came from there and its a blast. Now to find something different from everyone else. Vete's will probably rule, Mitsubishi X tuned seems to be a top 5 car but lacks the top end. Still fun to drive. You feel like a GT2 car in a GT1 race.:)

R1 tyres only?! Aye Aye Aye, this is going to be a painful experience for all controller users.:nervous:

Daytona Road is a fresh change, but it really feels obvious that it's an oval track, and not much money is put in the road course, so it feels cheap, home-made, that kind of stuff.

wuhuuuu
600 Suzuka is back!!
but why can't they have both Fuji and Suzuka at the same time?

I am glad to see suz 600PP back and I want to try daytona road too. So I guess you could say I am happy.

I guess the 600 suzuka with s1's will be hard to win with rwd.. or mr... lot's of evos, let me guess... :)

And, at least, one white GTR :D

I guess I'll have to try the W.E. also (I really liked to meet GTP'ers from across the Atlantic). But I'll probably be a very poor driver there, I don't drive in Daytona since clearing the offline events, and I never, ever, raced in a 750pp race, don't even know what cars are suited for that pp range. Supercars, I guess ... :nervous:

And I am getting bored. I found no joy in racing the new events this arvo, I guess GT5:P is finally starting to age- hopefully the update will spruce things up a bit.:)

Daytona Road, with Any car and R1 tires? Can you say R8?

While I am not happy about less events, Daytona Road will be fun..

The R8 sucks at it, I beat one in my Art Morrison Corvette earlier, although it did have a sad driver. Now there's a fun car to drive, the AM Corvette.:dopey:

S1 tyres on szk 600 is fun. the punters breed are finding it hard to stay on the tarmac so theres less punting from that breed of people.

Cool, I thought of that aspect when I saaw the events.

Ok, did a race at lunchtime on Daytona 7500 with R1's, Zocker16 was there and won, I took 3rd place.
Took the Viper tuned to Suzuka (even forgot to change pp because R1 tires allow for more power to be put in), and still, despite being the first time on that track with that car, with a tune that was less than adequate, I still had a lot of fun.
When I get home from work, I’ll start the process of tuning the Viper for this track and this is probably where I’ll race the most.
BTW, ended the race under 6 minutes (despite my poor performance), so for this event racing every 10 minutes is more than enough and makes for an extra race per hour. 👍

I’ll also try out Suz600 with S1 tires, and for there a retune will be needed.
I’m seriously doubting RWD cars having a serious chance to compete in most cases. As the added pp usually means more power, but with less grippy tires, it’ll be harder to put the power down, so AWD cars will have the upper hand on this one, or at least that’s how I’m foreseeing things.
Plus, with the extra power, AWD cars will accelerate faster and reach higher top speeds, basically diluting RWD’s advantage.

See you guys on track in a few hours!

Just had a few races at Suzuka 600PP.
Really enjoyable. With the rolling start I actually got round turn 1 every time without being fired into the litter, which for me is a major breakthrough.
Over approx 6 races I saw no punting whatsoever. How refreshing.
Fingers crossed that it lasts.
Timppaq was flying in the NSX, but I think the speed difference between the R8 and the NSX is smaller now (except on the straight). No problem with that - I have the choice to drive the NSX myself - but I don't have the talent :dunce:

HEHEHEHEHEEEEE!!!!!!!! I just LOVE this!! :D ...NSX is very competative against the R8's at least... I was wrong at the earlier post, the flying start changes everything. And the fact that if a punter want's to punt me from behind, with my added power to the nsx, he really can't beacause it would make him oveshoot the next corner and still missing me... LOL!!!! Thanks PD!

EDIT: RBE feels more strong now, but may be due to the people so far behind...

I dont understand why dont dont just have ALL the tracks in every class ALL the time?!?!? I mean now I have to miss my fav... Suzuka 750 pp en high speed ring 750 pp which has been gone for a while now.... I want to be able to chose all tracks in 750PP that would be a whole lot better en cooler :P

I've found myself even faster in my EvoX! Was initially shocked to find my lap times way slower than before; eventually found out it was due to the S1 tyres. But after powering up my car I'm surprised to see it to be at least one whole second faster each lap
