Texans put Schaub on IR and sign Kellen Clemens as Leinart's backup. Interesting. Wonder if Shannahan will suck his pride and take a flyer on Orton? Prolly not. Shannahan is such a...........I don't know how to put him.......OVERRATED!!!!!!! There that was simples.

Heres the order of who can claim Orton and when:

The current list: (1) Colts; (2) Panthers; (3) Rams; (4) Vikings; (5) Cardinals; (6) Redskins; (7) Jaguars; (8) Dolphins; (9) Chiefs; (10) Browns; (11) Eagles; (12) Chargers; (13) Seahawks; (14) Buccaneers; (15) Titans; (16) Bills; (17) Jets; (18) Broncos; (19) Giants; (20) Raider; (21) Bengals; (22) Cowboys; (23) Falcons; (24) Saints; (25) Texans; (26) Ravens; (27) Steelers; (28) Patriots; (29) Lions; (30) Bears; (31) 49ers; and (32) Packers.

You mean Shanahan's a 🤬 🤬 terrible coach .

We should get Orton, but knowing Redskins management, we won't.

And it drives me nucking futs.

If we use Kellen Clemens, I wonder if he'll be effective backing up Matt Leinart. I think this season is now a chance for Matt Leinart to show what he's got and if he can be even remotely a high-level QB. The Texans on offense are not predicated on our QB. We got Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels, Ben Tate, Kevin Walter. This is all just about how well Matt Leinart is under center and how well he can dictate the offense for the Texans.

The game at Jacksonville this weekend could go a long way to determining if the Texans can still remain competitive even without Matt Schaub. I mean... can the offense remain strong? Will the defense help keep the Texans in games? These remaining games will go a long way in determining whether or not we're going to the Playoffs or have to settle for another season.

Happy Thanksgiving! Here's what on the card for today:

Its a school day here in Canada :(. I picked Green Bay to win, because Aaron Rodgers is dominant. I picked the Cowboys because I can't pick the Dolphins when they have Matt Moore at QB. And I picked the 49ers, because Frank Gore can run baby.

Packers perfection persists. They got her done 25-17 in MoTown. I read the Cowboys scored 20 unanswered to beat the Dolphins 20-19 in Dallas.

The nightcap is going on right now- the Harbaugh Bowl (or "Har-Bowl?")- 49ers at Ravens. Prior to this game, I didn't know the 49ers are 9-1 on the season heading into this game. Almost like they've quietly gotten only one loss. As of this post, it's 3-0, Baltimore with 6:41 left in the 1st Quarter. San Francisco is driving, though.

[UPDATE] The Ravens won 16-6 over the San Francisco 49ers. So the 'Niners will have to settle for their second loss. The Ravens improve to 8-3 on the season with this win.

The final games of November 2011 will be played out this weekend. Best of luck to all of your teams. That even includes the Sunday Night clash as the Pittsburgh Steelers play at the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last year, the Houston Texans lost at the Jacksonville Jaguars on a million-to-one lucky play that should have sent the game into Overtime. Today, we won 20-13 over the Jacksonville Jaguars to win, but in bittersweet fashion. Matt Leinart got into some injury trouble as he had a shoulder injury. So we had to rely on T.J. Yates. I'm so used to offense that I was disappointed on the second half. Still, the Texans managed to hold serve and preserve their lead. This win for the Texans is the first time we had ever won five games in a row. Up next for the Texans- back home to take on Atlanta and "Matty Ice." Will we have Leinart or Yates under center? We shall see. Also, Connor Barwin and J.J. Watt were beasts on defense along with Kareem Jackson.

That's what's up with the Texans. How about you all?

[UPDATE] Multiple sources are saying that Matt Leinart is done for the year with a broken collarbone. We'll have to go with T.J. Yates unless we can get a very good veteran QB. I think people are saying we'll make the playoffs... but not go far, and especially not with T.J. Yates.

The Panthers beat the still winless Colts 27-19, their first road victory in almost 2 years.

Edit: The Broncos Tebows win again. :boggled:

I've had it up to here with officials helping decide the outcomes of games. Today the Seahawks were down and were facing 3rd and 11, Jackson throws a long to for Baldwin and the defensive back, without ever attempting to look back for the ball, grabs the receiver's arm and keeps him from making the catch. Referees don't call it, Seattle is forced to punt. After the Seahawks force the Redskins to punt, more official influence takes place. During the kick the 'Skin's gunner ran out of bounds on his own, which is normally a penalty. After he ran out our guy pushed him, which resulted in a 15yd unnecessary roughness call. There was no question that should have been offsetting fouls, repeat the kick, but no. So once again the Hawks played a good game that got thrown out by poor officiating.

@Blitz_69: Biased much? You forgot to mention the 44-yard Pass Interference penalty called on the Redskins that almost cost us the game (Thank goodness Seattle's anemic offense couldn't score a TD). Grossman played well, Roy Helu shined, our defense stepped up, and we beat the Seahawks! Hail to my Redskins! 4-7 record.

Well my Pats crushed the Eagles and Tim Tebow clutch in the 4th and in overtime. Chargers lost their 6th straight game!

I consider the call on the next drive to cancel that out. There was some other penalty I didn't agree with. But on the call you are talking about, the tv announcers thought it should have been offensive, but I think it should have been no penalty. Both guys were fighting for the ball and locked up with each other. Rice did push on the defender, and the defender did restrict his arm: = no call.

And the only problem on our offense (other than the 2 injured starting lineman) is Tavaris Jackson. Sure he can throw the ball, but anyone can do that. I am convinced he has the brain power of a toaster. If you look at the great QB's what do they share? Mental ability. There's nothing fancy about how Brady or Manning throw the ball, but they have two of the best QB minds that game has seen. Jackson doesn't, plain and simply.

Giants at Saints TONIGHT!

Take dem G-Men down to New Orleans and let's play some Monday Night Football! Two Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks will surely light up the Louisiana Superdome. It's NFC East meets NFC South. Will the 6-4 Giants beat dem Saints, or will the 7-3 Saints remain perfect at home (4-0 right now) by taking down the Giants? Good luck to both teams.

I picked the Saints because of their home record which you just mentioned, plus I don't trust Eli "I throw picks constantly" Manning to win.

The Saints will definitely win. The Dome is probably the toughest place for another team to play, if you've ever been to a Saints game you will definitely agree with me. And its not the Louisiana Superdome anymore, its the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

I've never been outside of my home state ever, but my Texans know full well just how much a purgatory the Superdome can be to opposing teams. Of course, just ask the Colts, who got spanked like a college team earlier this season on Sunday Night. I'm pretty sure the Giants know what they are getting themselves into tonight.

Aside from the Monday Night game, what do you make of some of the different issues from this past weekend, such as:

* the Chargers' 6-game losing streak
* the Stevie Johnson (BUF) touchdown celebration as the Bills lost at the Jets
* N. Suh's actions on Thanksgiving Day
* (any other notable stories)

Chat away!

Suh should be suspended. There is no excuse for physically assaulting another player after the whistle has been blown.

Yeah he should. I stood up for him with all those other hits because they could be considered physical, to me there really wasnt anything dirty about them. But this one is just dirty and there is no excuse for what he did. Then he tries to make an excuse for stomping his foot down, saying he was off balance and would fall if he didnt do it.

Agreed, I like the physical way Suh plays, but there is no excuse for what he did. He really should be suspended for at least the next two games.

Saints beat dem Giants 49-24 to be now 5-0 at home. I don't think the Giants even led once in this game.

So a new week is upon us. Here are your current Division Leaders:

--- AFC ---
East: New England (8-3 overall; 3-1 in division)
North: Baltimore (8-3 overall; 3-0 in division)
South: Houston (8-3 overall; 4-0 in division)
West: Oakland (7-4 overall; 2-2 in division)

--- NFC ---
East: Dallas (7-4 overall; 2-1 in division)
North: Green Bay (11-0 overall; 4-0 in division)
South: New Orleans (8-3 overall; 3-1 in division)
West: San Francisco (9-2 overall; 2-0 in division)

We'll have to see how many of these teams will remain high among the rankings as we head into December. Set me straight if I screwed something up here.

[UPDATE] This just in...

Jack del Rio (JAX Coach) has been fired, and defensive coordinator Mel Tucker will be the interim head coach. I think I've also read the Jaguars would be sold. Tough times up in north Florida...

Oakland is going to live up to the moniker they had in the past, the "faders" because Denver is winning the division.

Dallas will not win the division. New York will.

Del Rio was a good Defensive Coordinator, but as a Head Coach he was marginal.
