THIS JUST IN...

...Jake Delhomme is coming out of retirement and signed with the Houston Texans. T.J. Yates needs a veteran QB to back him up, and this guy stepped up to be the backup QB for the Texans. I hope Delhomme will be solid in case we need him.

[UPDATE] This just in...

Jack del Rio (JAX Coach) has been fired, and defensive coordinator Mel Tucker will be the interim head coach. I think I've also read the Jaguars would be sold. Tough times up in north Florida...

The only real surprise to me is that it didn't happen sooner.

In other news, the Colts have fired their D-coordinator Larry Coyer and Dan Orlovsky will replace Curtis Painter as the starting QB against the Pats on sunday.

This Thursday night has the Pacific Northwest's only NFL team in prime time. An NFC clash will happen as the Philadelphia Eagles share the skies where Seahawks, the Seattle Seahawks, rule the air. Both teams are 4-7. PHI is 3-2 on the road, and SEA is 2-3 at home. Something has to give. One team will be 5-7 while the other will fall to 4-8.

Good luck to both teams tonight. Play some great football in the lovely city of Seattle!

I totally forgot that there is a game today., should be interesting as both teams a pretty desperate for a win.

Some more news, The Vikings have waived Donovan Mcnabb

Not really that surprising, I'm really not sure if any team will claim him.

Jaws on ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" was talking about how Donovan McNabb would be a great fit with the Houston Texans (which totally surprised me). Of course, we signed Jake Delhomme earlier this week, but I don't even know if McNabb could be effective even if he was a backup for the Texans. It's "wait and see" for me in regards to T.J. Yates.

Right now... Philadelphia just scored, but they trail 14-7 to the Seahawks with about 11:43 left in the 2nd Quarter (First Half).

I thought that was a great-played game. We didn't make many big mistakes that set us behind the 8-ball like normal. That was a great example of what this team can do.

That was a great example of how bad the eagles really are. So much fun watching them collapse. Couldn't happen to better bunch! Great job Seahags! Made my night. Lynch is a beast!

Did anyone see SportsCenter recently? Herm Edwards went OFF on the Eagles trying to psych them up for the rest of the season. It is very disappointing to have this sort of "Dream Team" that has produced only four wins with 12 games played. I found out that PHI got picked off four times last night. What was it... 31-14 the final score? Has to be embarrassing to get blown out like this.

Also... N. Suh's suspension appeal was denied. So no Suh for the duration of his suspension. Meaning the Lions will have to step up on defense in absence of Suh.

Lmao, McNabb is done. That guy sucks.

I dont think hes done yet. He can probably be a decent 2nd/3rd QB somewhere. If you look at his stats in Minnesota they arent that bad. It would've helped tremendously if he actually had some recievers to catch the ball.

Stick a fork in him.

Cullenand: McNabb sucks. He was a third-string QB... In Washington. He lost the starting job to Grossman and Beck did better in practice. He's done.

I never said that he is what he once was, but he still has some game left in him. He completed 60% of his passes this year in Minnesota with horrible recievers. In Washington he was in a horrible situation, a new system and a bad head coach. Its all up to him if he wants to play again or not. Some team will probably give him another chance either this year or next year. He didnt request to be released to just sit on the couch and stop playing.

Momma McNabb better heat up some of that Chunky soup.

Introducing the Arena Football League MVP, Donovan McNabb.

Ha Ha. I never said he would get another chance in the NFL, I just said he would get another chance. If Culpepper did then he should.

I think McNabb's done, he might get a second or thrid string job next year if he's lucky.

Best of luck to all of your teams, including this week's Sunday Night matchup of the Lions at the Saints.

If I had a dollar for every time these commentators say Tim Tebow's name, I'd have enough money for a good used car.

It's over in Houston. A low-scoring game was won by the Texans, as we iced "Matty Ice" and put down the Falcons 17-10. That's six straight for the Deep Steel Blue, Liberty White, and Battle Red. T.J. Yates didn't dominate or anything, but he did pretty damn good under center. This game was by no means pretty. I was fearful of this game and the possibility that we'd drop this one. We fortunately managed to get it done today. Texans are now 9-3. One more win will be the first-ever time we rack up double-digit wins. Will it happen next week at Cincinnati? We'll see.

Okay... what's up with your team(s)?

Washington mailed it in after being up 16-13 and gives up 3 TDs in the 4th quarter to let the Jets win.

Cincinnati decided to go into hibernation against Pittsburgh, losing 35-7.

Oakland didn't show up and lost 34-14 to Miami.

Tebow and the Broncos continue to win, taking it against the Vikings 35-32 on a last second FG.

Chicago is done. Forte is injured and could be out for the year. In addition, they lose to Kansas City 10-3.

Indianapolis almost (not really, but almost) pulled a shocker and only lost by 7 points in a game they should have been blown out.

Did I miss a game?

Dolphins win, dolphins win! DORUPHEEENNN!!!!

Packers win!!!!! Yay! That was a seriously close game, though. You have to respect the effort the Giants gave.

Indeed, they are a much better team than people give them credit for. And the Packers well it's pretty obvious they are going to go 16-0.
