Palmer's wife wanted Miami or San Fran. That's where they live.

Last I heard, He said he wanted to play anywhere but here, but I think it's funny that he supposedly threatened to report to camp this season just so he would have to be paid more to do more nothing. But choosing a team based on location, I'm picking Miami. Florida is always beautiful, even in a hurricane.👍
He would make a really good back up qb though. He's all about the short burst of talent, so that might work out for someone. :dunce: Sadly I bet Mike Brown will just let him rot instead of entertaining reasonable offers.

But one I applaud hehe.

OK, back in the world of today.... I don't know how how many weeks it will take before Jackson gets benched in favor of Charlie.

As do I....

Now what I don't understand is why in the heck Jackson has a "C" slapped on his chest?

I have 0 confidence they will win anything with him behind centre.

I'm still confused why they immediately gave him the title of starting QB and only gave him a 1-year deal. You don't build towards the future with 1-year deals.

Then he will just pull a Favre and come back a year later for some other team.

Henne has been looking good since they brought Daboll and his new offense in. Dan Henning's old offense just doesn't work in today's league. I don't really see them bringing in Palmer unless Henne somehow implodes and our season completely falls apart. If we wind up being the worst in the league, I could very easily imagine Andrew Luck and Carson Palmer in Dolphins unis next season with the new coaching staff. Ross will clean house. But I don't think it'll come to that. It might be bad enough to snag Barkley, but not Luck. Anyway, if Henne goes, Palmer comes in with the new pick.

Also, Mike Brown is the worst owner in the NFL.

Because hes not a future starting quarterback. Not sure why they would sign him at all, Tarvaris isnt even a number 2 quarterback in some places. All the Seahawks can hope for at this point is the #1 pick and Andrew Luck.

Dude, it's only the first game of the season.

You didn't see him in the preseason. It seemed like every game our offense did nothing with the starters, and the second team was the one who got all the points.

As Blitz said. His preseason was atrocious. I was kind of shocked to hear he got the starting job.

Matthew Stafford is being very constant with his passes, really hammering the ball into those gaps :)
Lions are actually looking like a real team :D

My dad and I are placing bets on how long it will take before the 12th Man boos Tavaris Jackson off the field in our home opener next week.

Poor Chiefs. Their season has already imploded.

edit: WOW! Lucky break for the Skins there. Poor Cards.

edit 2: OMG. What are the Skins doing? Victory formation with time left on the clock? Seriously? Arizona has the ball again. They also have Kolb and Larry Fitz.

Don't worry, the Saints will get their turn.
Like how we handled ya'll birds?

How do you like that 30-13 whooping we gave your Bears. We had Cutler running for his life, 20 hits and 6 sacks, sounds pretty good. Next up, Texans.

Harbaugh doesn't want to load up his roster with USC kids. Banish Palmer to the Raiders!

Yeah why not? We should have just traded them QB's to begin with. Gradkowski isn't bad at handing the ball off and as long as he only throws once or twice a drive, he blends into the running game here pretty well. Banish Palmer to Mars for all I care, I'm just happy he's not starting.

Kitna was a lions quarterback before Stafford
He. Was/Is. Bad.

If you watch the Game where the Steelers broke Palmer's leg off, you can see Kitna being literally too terrified to play. The look is unmistakeable.

Seahawks atrocious again.

2/12 on 3rd down compared to 8/15 for the Steelers. How does a quarterback go 20/29 and not throw for 200 yards? Why won't they ever let Jackson throw the thing?

Hard to blame the defense for much. You don't win often with 0 points and when your offense doesn't ever move the ball up field 24 points against the Steelers doesn't look half bad.

I think we may be on the short list for the Luck sweepstakes.

All I remember about him was
"I think were going to win 8 or 9 games this season"
I'm pretty sure that's the season we won 0 games

Hey guys. I take back everything said about the dolphins. They suck. The worst part is that now Andrew luck probably won't make us any better. Maybe we can trade Henne to Seattle for Earl Thomas.
