Cool car man. I saw one on another thread here, and it brought back some memories. I had a friend in highschool that got one of these in real bad condition, but he fixed i up and it turned out real nice.

Finally, someone to counter all of the MR-2s here. 👍

Be sure to post it in the cars thread.

Automatic Fiero? Tisk tisk. :p

buickgnx88, I take it you own(d) a buick grand national? I had a friend in H.S. in '88 that got one for his birthday. I recall it too was an automatic? Wow what a car though 3.8L V6 turbo charged...1st gear scratch, 2nd gear scratch, 3rd gear scratch not a problem with that beast. We used to cruise and look for corvettes to run down at a light. Unfortunately the demise of the grand national was being able to beat down a corvette at the light.

Haha I wish I had a Grand National or even just a Regal T-Type. They are awesome cars and even though they are autos, I believe you could get shift kits and even a ratchet shifter for them. Fieros I'm not so sure about since they are set up like a FF car.

Is there something wrong with MR2s? :sly:

Looks pretty clean man, a bit of a bummer on the auto, but they are nice looking cars...

So when are you going to put the Lambo body kit on it? :D

Oh come on, everyone knows he has to have a Testarossa kit, it's just natural!

No kit as of yet.

HOWEVER

when i can afford to, its definitely goin down the route of Ferrari.

Most like a Testarossa.

you are correct. it is only natural.

also im droppin a Caddy V8 northstar in that sucker.

and yes, it can be done. i will loose my trunk but it can be done.

Please, they were just joking. Do not. Something along the lines of a IMSA GTU kit might be better.

Northstar swap, sure, but use a manual transaxle, if you can.

Seriously? Why would you ruin a perfectly good Fiero like that?

I have no plans to. i was only kidding with the kit.

I like my baby as is. the only change i may do is, when i get the cash ill have a FULL check up and everything fixed. as of now i just need an oil change. but im gonna get the whole thing fixed and maybe upgrade to leather interior. thats it. my baby dont need nothing else. I do however want a Ferrari, sooooo I may cheat later in life and get a fiero thats been through hell but has a good frame and then make a kit. but not with the current one.

I still think the GTU replica would be a cool idea, but...geez. Your sarcasm needs a little work.

Glad you're going to preserve this interesting bit of GM history.
