At least part of your tires must be on the black. Part may be on the red/white, but that is indeed pushing it. From watching real life videos, and clean laps around Monza on GT5, there is almost always 2 tires on the black.
 
Quick question. Are we doing the qualifying like we did Tokyo R246? (NSX's first then GT-R's and so on?)

is your NSX tune good on the mobil 1 NSX???i would compare with what im using ...

im not the best tuner with suspension ;)

Well I thought that was much different from the other 3 races.... More nervous because I didnt want to cut the chicanes, and because my car was so dominant.

Ashame the Playstation Network still has bugs and issues with connections in 2011. Hopefully 5 years from now racing like this will have no issues at all.
 
Pretty uneventful race for me and the Castrol Supra. I did enjoy watching Atlas and Mt go at it. They got tangled in second chicane. While doing so they stayed put long enough for me to skip through. Much respect. I hated to catch up lime that. You two battling was giving me a chance to inch in. Sometimes you nailed the straights and invade away. Was shaping up to be awesome.

Jav, during race I was asking myself why does this guy keep racing me for position. He needs to pit. Let go, Atlas is coming. Please let me go. Hahahaha. Come to find out you was running for position so you thought. Good stuff. Fun battle too thanks for being clean.... Just one love tap early when you was getting the draft sorted. Hahaha thank god no damage. Shoo
 
Mixed feelings about this one. Like Owen said MtB and I ran together in the 1st half, seemed to work well together and use each others' draft but at other times somehow we ended up going 2 wide into corners and slowed each other down. Eventually he clipped my rear end going into the chicane, I went off track and Owen went thru. MtB waited and yielded position so I'm not going to report it as he finished behind me anyway.

Later in the race while trying to catch up to Owen I made a couple of mistakes, lost time in the sand...if it weren't for those we could've had a battle for 2nd.

Congrats to mustardaddict, he obviously did a great job holding it together but as he admits the Lexus is too dominant on soft tires at 532 hp with the massive torque.
 
Fwiw worth names Jeff Owens so either Jeff or Owens. But Owen is my little nephew. Sister son with different last name the. I. So not Owen Owens. Which I did consider when I went with G.T.O for my youngest. Oldest is EJO. He asked to change middle name to something V something. However not happening. He has meaning with his middle name. In which he will appreciated when an adult. Sorry it's late and I'm chatty.

Yea I think i'm going to watch the replay to watch this part. The only reason we crashed was because I went for the pass on the right side and ended up braking half on grass half on track and swerved into you. I felt like such an idiot after that crash.

I just watched it, it's exactly as you said. I was 3/4 car ahead on the inside, your rear tire caught the grass under brakes which made your car turn into my rear quarter panel sending me into a spin. It's a racing incident. Great battles but we need find a way to work together a little better if we're ever going to catch the 2 turbos up front :)

Haha G.T.O. that's so cool. 👍 Got it, I'll call you Owens then as it's part of your nick. That way others won't get confused.

For the DTM Monza race I used a similar strategy with one of the guys, we bumped drafted away from the pack to a confortable lead but I tapped him into the gravel on the 2nd Lesmo. I waited for him and we lost 3 spots, we kept on with the strategy and eventually got to the top and came home 1 and 3.

If that's the newer Premium version then yes, but I've still yet to update my NSX gear ratios. I'm not sure how the Standard models compare to the Premium tunes.

Edit: NSX is updated now.

i think i am going to have to change cars to a super gt nsx...

I'm over 500 hp so its not that...its the 322tq thats killing me...the first race there was only the one major strait so it wasn't so bad....but this race at monza really showed i need a super gt car

i saw it first when i was racing with jav for 3-4 laps...i would keep up with him through the chicanes and if i could catch a draft...but as soon as he got just far enough away from me, that was the last time i saw him

then from laps 6 till the end, Makictom,Boshuter, and i think 1 other guy would just be gaining on me quickly...i'd be half a lap up and within 1-2 laps they'd be right behind me,spin out or something,then it would repeat...i'm lucky i finished 7th....

being about 80tq lower then the GT-R and over 120tq lower then the other nsx's while also being 50kg heavier then everyone else is just putting me at to much of a disadvantage

idk though..ill stick with the same car because it's what i chose, even after doing 1 practice race and 1 real race with it....but if it's cool with everyone else i might change just to be competitive
 
I am not looking for a good finish this week. I personally don't know the ring well enough to be fast. I just hope not to wreck. . . To much.

I've been practicing with my SGT, and although I can do the ring without crashing in a less powerful car, I'm not going to be competitive on the ring with an SGT. I may vacate my place on the grid to someome on the waiting list who can be more competitive... Anyone out there care to race for our team? (Xanavi GT-R)

Tom, I chance to say you got me covered here. It's going to be embarrassing for me. I do plan to spend a few hours testing tomorrow. Maybe I will finally take to this track.

If you logon, I'll give it some more, but the best I can do with out crashing is way off your 8:41... Owens and I will be competing just to finish before the counter reaches 0, lol!

Haha sure thing I haven't turned my PS3 on because no one said anything! So I didn't think you guys were on/wanted to practice with me
