Mission race, IA-5. Why would they do this? This is the most controller-smashing race I've played in a LONG time. At least give us the compliment, you know, where we get to smash the yellow Ferrari for fun.

What's the problem?

Is the car hard to drive? I just tried the race.

Dino is tricky, underpowered car for a Rari. I won by braking as straight as possible as recommended. I also ran the track without looking at the time to find the Dino's breaking point in terms of entering corners. You can enter the corner early due to how light the Dino is but as with most Ferrari's the rear stepping out can become an issue. Good Luck though.

Well, first, I thought I had to be in front of him to get the gold (which I did, only took 19 tries). Second, the reason I didn't like the race so much is not because of the car, love the Dino, but because the yellow car kept smashing into me on the uphill section.

That's great, it pushes you so that you go faster. How nice the AI is in GT6...

I noticed this in another race as well, the car you're supposed to beat gets faster and faster as you do the race, pushing you to do better and better. Now THAT is cool. Just not cool to ram me in the back with a mid-engined car that likes to spin easily.

Goodwood 5-3... My brain tried to forget Goodwood 5-3, but my fingers still remember...
It was a nightmare... It will probably haunt me for the rest of my life. I'm guessing Goodwood is a lot worse.

It's not that hard really. Keep pushing your own lap time a few milliseconds each round by using the ghost. Find which corners you can brake less and work on finding the best line. I figured out after a few tries that you don't even have to brake on several of the corners. Ignore the yellow bastard trying to push you out and it should be all good. If this pushing annoys you, get your body ready for Mission race S-5!

I found the Dino quite easy to drive and a lotta fun with it, drifting into corners and such. Controlling the car was fairly easy once you get the hang of it. My frustration was with the AI car....on one lap he almost spun me 3 times, including trying a Pit maneuver through the long sweeping left hander ( had to lift off the throttle yet he didn't quite spin me but slowed me down enough to stop me golding it that attempt). Finally managed it before I broke the controller in frustration (it helped that I positioned my car on the run up to the line so he kept hitting the back of me giving me a little extra burst of speed!!).

I have to say this one was a perfect example of the severely lacking AI in that they will just follow the line no matter what is in front. I don't mind moronic poorly executed AI but GT certainly pushes the boundaries or it
