MAraxus, first it would be helpful if you made the Thread name that people could understand what your asking, not a open ended statement, but to answer your question you havta get something like a sharkport, and download it from the internet in someone's game save file

You need a Gameshark (I think there is a code series for it), or with a Sharkport you can download a game from several to choose. Another way is to mail somebody your memcard and have them buy it into your game, provideed you have about 1.25 megacredits to spend.

Try the Hybrids & Gamesharks forum. And welcome to GT Planet!

do people in the states have the car?
i really want one and i have like 4 mil credits
i really dont want to put any foriegn objects into my ps2
so i really would like one can anyone help me here

Yes, it's available in the NTSC version (US and Canada) only. You don't need to modify your PS2 in any way. Get it one of the 3 ways I told you above.

Hey maraxas, welcome to GTPlanet. There is one thing that you can always count on here is that neon_duke will never steer you wrong. 👍

I'd say the easiest way to get the Diablo it to get yourself a Sharkport or Xport. If your not familiar with these, what they do is connect your PS2 and your PC together. Then you can either upload or download files from your memory card to the web.
So with that, you can either download a game save that contains a Diablo, or, you can edit one into your very own garage using the help of MK's Program. This program is great, Download it and check it out.

The other way is to get yourself a Gameshark. What this does is allow you to enter cheat codes into your memory card saves.
So you will be able to enter all the various codes to create a Diablo on your GT3 game. It is however more time consuming to do it this way. You should be able to find everything you need, including codes for the Porsche 911 and the Diablo at www.gameshark.com

Also, once you've got one, check out the Hybrids forum, plenty of people there will also be willing to help you out with getting some different cars and everything...(well boom mostly helped you out here...;))

ok so where would i get a shark port or an xport?
and so they damage my ps2 or void my warranty at all?
also what does this "program" do?
i really dont want to get a game shark so that one is out but i could really be interested in the others
also is there a way to play with the cars from GTC?
:banghead:

The Xport has a new version out called Ver. 2 I believe. Do a "search" for it here. It came in a thread about two weeks ago so you should be able to find it.

All the devices you listed are not licensed products so they will void your warranty.

If they damage the PS2 at all, I'm sure nobody would ever buy them. I personally don't use them.

Try a google search to find where you can buy one if you still want one.

on the subjects of this is there any way i can get all 6 f1 cars that the us and japan get because we only get 2 in europe:irked:

Apart from chiping and importing

Do the same techniques as above work with all six f1 cars are there codes for them that will work with the pal version or will using a memory card save from a us version to the pal version work

Not true. If they were placed within the PS2, then yes it would void whatever warranty you may have - I personally have a 3yr "any-reason" warranty which covers me throwing the PS2 out of the window.

The only device that is placed internally is the chip.

The Gameshark and derivatives plug into the memory card 1 port.

The Xport and derivatives plug into either USB port.

And the thing James mentioned I've already covered - the only way to get the Diablo/NTSC F1s/Porsche 996 911/Stratoses is to have a Japanese or N. American copy of the game and a PS2 that can play it.

so i guess here is the real question then
is there anybody in cali that is on these forums that owns these cars so i can either borrow their card or send them mine???????

You're right. I should have used the word "could" instead of the word "will" but I have heard of stories from people who said Sony refused to repair their PS2 because they used non-licensed devices with their PS2, and therefore voided the warranty. Remember, Sony is a big evil empire now, and they could and do use just about any excuse not to repair something under warranty.

I just thought I would give him the heads up about non-license products.:D
