I'm not too happy with the world events, they are often too laggy, I just hate how PD chooses the hosts in the online races, you can have a grid of 12 racers, 11 from Europe and 1 from Japan the guy from Japan will have the lowest ping to the PD servers and the highest upload speed thus he will become host. So instead of 1 player experiencing lag you will now have 10 players with lag.

A shuffling of locations for the current events seems likely, see the previous five months of updates.
Only once during those months did an event not move, Suzuka 550pp RWD was on for two consecutive updates.

i did some races and all was horrible laggy, good racing was inpossible. :indiff:

Haven't had many problems here. Few cars going see-through which was kind of nice, instead of being hit.:) Plus I can lay down some quick lap times trying to catch those pesky Japanese rockets.

So when is the official release date for GT5 anyhow? so tired of waiting. Mrs. Solarr think I need to go se GT anonymous...lol Wait til GT5 comes out... oh boy, this can't be good. Funny thing is she is the one that bought me the PS3 and GT5P...lol

600pp - Suzuka - 10 laps - RWD only - S2's

Thanks. 👍

Nice to think about. But sadly PD seems to have left the pp600/non racing tire class to die. It's all been pp550/pp650 which opens (or closes) the door for many cars.

I for one would like to see a pp600/s1...no restrictions...run what you like awd/rwd/fwd...even tuned cars. As much as that free-for-all was annoying when we had it...I must admit I miss it.

Expert Event Updates:

800 PP HSR
700 PP Suzuka
600 PP AWD/Fuji
550 PP FF/London Forward
550 PP FR/Eiger North

My gut reaction/first-glance analysis of this month's event update: FAIL

I hope I'm wrong. 700 PP Suzuka is gonna' be a Clio-Fest :grumpy:

Oh yeah, I think this is the guy at PD who's been responsible for the last few event updates:

I'm not completely optimistic either. But I can tell you that there were a lot of cool cars I thought of trying for Event 03, that could not quite make it to 750 PP. :mischievous:

Also, the 700 PP Suz is a world event, which brings with it LAG, but solves EDK's NTSC/PAL matching issues. :dopey:

So you see, it's not all bad.

**Considers which car he could put them in at Eiger**

HHhhhmmm... nothing really special... Eiger and London are back though.. 👍

Hopefully we'll meet the TEW guys again @ Suzuka then  Long time no see Suzuka WE 👍 Reasonable happy with the update...

Well until I get my POS wheel fixed, it looks like I'm not missing out on anything in the mean time.

Damn, when will they learn that we want 600pp Suz RWD. :( I wouldnt mind London if it werent for the rolling start.

Guess I will be @ Suz 700pp.

550 PP RWD is better when they limit it to S3 tyres, you get to use all the RX-7s, Skylines, Mustangs, etc etc. it's the perfect PP for them on S1-S3 tyres.

lol racing Eiger at the moment... what a hoot !!

I have been having a few good laps around Eiger as well this arvo, And I must say my Z350's tune just loves this piece of road. However it's not the easiest place to make a pass if someone is holding you up...:grumpy:

p.s. No reference to you 888 Tuning :D
