Hey Earth and CWR, that was some fine racing on The High Speed Ring this evening. Three GTP members taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd two races in a row in heated battles with around 10 cars per race. Very good feeling.

*Cough* I didn't do so well at Daytona in the Ford GT though...

Thank you so much, not too bad yourself with the Elise. I was quite impressed with the 123 twice....I just under powerd my Viper and Earth got me every time on the straights. lol I would have had second place if I had more power, but at the expense of my corning speeds.

It would be great to see your Ford GT setup. It is a car I learned to become very good with in GT4 and I can't seem to get a handle on it in GT5P, so it is really frustrating me.

During the races, the Audi was causing havoc by slowing down to about, um, 0 before entering any corner. Oh man, it was making me crazy and I felt bad whenever I bumped him in that situation, but his entry was so so slow there was no way I could get used to it.

I also tend to be either "in the zone" or "not in the zone" when driving. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground for me, so don't be too surprised if my driving isn't always quite that consistent...

Oh yeah I do feel you. Daytona is one of the worst places to race, due to the hurd of Johhny_idiots. The good thing about the Ford GT is when you have been driving it for 2 weeks and only at Daytona you tend to get good at using it. If you check the tuning forums Earth has a setup that is probably good to use there. In the zone? lol I can't get in the zone unless I am being brake checked and rammed into the wall..

BTW, I am still working on the right Ratio's so don't be surprised if its slow until you get the draft!

That was some great racing at High Speed Ring with GTP_CWR and GTP_panjandrum, it's just a shame we can only enjoy the races for just 5 laps. How hard can it be to allow the host to choose the # of laps?

As for the F40 if you give it the tire combo of R2/R3 that helps it handle alot easier

Did BackBrakeSeb get anyone else at HSR in his white tuned Corvette? panjandrum did he get you? you were close to me then suddenly dissappaered and he appeared behind me

A couple of laps later he wallsurfs that last turn, drafts me down the straight, pulls under me, and slams me up into the barrier in the first turn and im sure a few of you guys saw what was left over of my GT

Yeah he also passed me very impatiently (I mean it's simple, just wait for the turn 1-2 combo to get me with the Ferrari, leave me alone the rest of the time! )

Yes indeed he did! You and I would have had 1st and 2nd in that race if he hadn't punted both of us - and definitely on purpose, I was watching closely. He took me out earlier in that same race exactly where you noticed me fall away.

But, I have to admit I got revenge. In the race he quit? I took him out on the straight. Took him with a hard jab in the rear quarter from the left and sent him into a complete spin and into the wall, then he quit. I felt a little evil, but seriously, someone had to do it, he was being a complete jerk.

Also, there was one hell of an Elise driver in that last race. I had him dang it, then my right rear just touched the grass and goodbye Panjandrum! You were right behind me when I spun it on the last lap trying to get around him on the outside.

BTW Earth, I think there was something wrong with your connection in the second race? After I passed you your car was bouncing all over the track for the entire rest of the race - like you had teleportation or something. It was weird...

Yeah that F40 is a hand full, I will not be competitive with it until I get a racing wheel. Its too hard to drive with a Sixaxsis controller. I wonder if I put more assits on it if that would help me out or make me just as slow... And the other thing is when ever I go to Suzuka I get booted off the track with it everytime because I can't keep it from wheel slip

My guess is, YES! lol I don't know what happen in that one turn where we touched, but was that me or your? lol If it was me to got too carried away with the gas, although I was trying to give you as much room as I could!

I finished S-Class and have been fooling around with the F1 car and I must say, I am getting surprisingly bored with the game now. I'm thinking about trading it in for GTA4...

This game should also give the car in front a speed burst in the draft because the draft takes alot of air off the rear of the leading car making it faster

and bavoman03 sorry for the contact at Suzuka. Everyrace a silver F430 would start up front in a severly de-tuned car and held everyone up. He thanked me for not wrecking him from behind by cutting me off and other crap when I tried to pass

The funny thing was I was race with him at Daytona Road 45 mins ago, I got the boot in turn one from him. lol The guy doesn't know how to brake.

That guy is real pathetic, he spun from a 4 second lead midway through the last lap, got back on track right behind me, tried to ram me in that real sharp corner toward the end of Fuji, then tried to hit me again on the second to last turn but ghosted right through me and spun off into the grass. He quit a few seconds later from second just 20 seconds from the finish line. Pathetic

I didn't really notice any bump that bad, but some of it is probably my fault as I'm not quite sure when to brake going into turn 1 from a standing start

And guys, I'd avoid HSR reverse for now, there is 2 professional wall surfers "racing" there. No way to beat them

I thought I saw your car wiggle coming out of the final chicane and then I knew I had a chance, but I couldn't pull even.

Tonight's racing at Suzuka has been great, I had a great battle with GTP_VanHelzer for one race and then a great battle with Major Milou the next

Currently me and GTP_CWR are having a good time with our F40s at Daytona road, but now punters and quitters are ruining things as usual

I will be at Daytona Road using the F40. I've finally tuned the car where you don't have to lift around every single bend. Now if I can find a way to go through the backstretch chicane competitively the car should be a force to reckon with on Daytona Road. I would like to see GTP_CWR's F40 setup he is very fast in it as well

That Chicane is hard to get right, but when I do I fly through it. Are you still at Daytona Road? The trick is, if the car is too light for the power it causes the wheels to loose traction easier. As you know there is a lot of power under the hood of that '92 beast! Then I made the gears longer, because I found that it has very high upper end speed. So why not use it?
