Does this update make any sense at all? I suppose it is personal preference, but they've just removed my two of my favorite tracks from online play (London, Daytona Road). It is as if they came to me and asked me "what tracks do you like?" and then removed them. They will certainly be getting an email, which I'm sure the will promptly ignore :-)
That said, I don't know if I'll be seeing you guys as much online. I don't like Fuji at all, it has always been one of my most hated courses. Daytona Oval I pretty much decided to give up on because I've never been involved in even a single clean race there. Punted every single time... I've also never been a fan of Suzuka, which I know many of you love, but it is exactly the kind of track I don't like. (I'm an El Capitan, Nurburgring, Citta di Aria, George V. Paris kind of guy...)
*Sigh*. Well, at least we have professional events at lower pp levels. I have to go see how that works out and stop whining now :-)
While I don't like it, it appears they were removed due to the low interest. I can't tell you how many times I've tried entering one during off peak hours lately and it taking as much as three matching attempts before finding just one other online driver to race against.. possibly even longer, but I quit by the fourth attempt and try entering a different race. Even in peak hours, rarely have I ever been in a 700pp race at Daytona Road, London, High Speed Ring Reverse and Fuji with more than 8 drivers. This game is already thin on tracks why take away 4 tracks and add just 2 F1 races????

Slicecom, were you driving a F430 at Suzuka yesterday? IIRC, we had some nice matches. 👍
Guess I am going to have to go get the F1 car, now. Wonder how its going to be without a wheel. 💡
Yeah that was me! I didn't know you were on here. I even wrote down your PSN name on my list of good drivers. We had some awesome back and forth action for the lead. 👍
I agree as well, but unfortunately, from my experience, most of the time those races had less than 6 drivers in them... and sometimes one or two of those drivers are just parking their cars to make the prize money, and there is usually one person that just quits... so even a race that starts out with six, can often end with only three running the full race.It sounds like thats the case, and its unfortunate because I actually prefer online races with 6-8 cars. When you have 16 cars, chances are a lot higher that you'll have more stupid drivers.
Hey Panjandrum and GPT_TheMoose,
Awesome racing last night. BBCRACER i only raced with you for the 2 races at HSR-R, and i didnt know you were with GTP, were's your tag buddy![]()
Hey Moose what happened on race 2 of Fuji. The 1st turn on lap on i seen your car to left and straight in to the wall? Did someone hit you or did you brake to late? Also some great racing on Fuji ^^ the 1, 2 finish was sweet to see. Altho on the 3rd race Fuji, i did get hit a few timees by that white dodge viper, who also blocked me when i caught him on the start/finish line.
As for HSR-R i had no car set-up for that track, so thats why i sucked royally!
Oh well, im off to work see you guys tonight!
Hey Earth,
Were you video taping us at Daytona Road?
EDIT: I just did a 750PP race at Suzuka and man, the tuned Ford GT is so much more fun at 750pp than 700pp!
OMG HOW COULD I LOSE IT IN THE LAST CORNER TO SLICECOM!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
oh well nice race man
wow i made alot of stupid mistakes in that one but that was very gentelmenly(is that a real word?) of you to wait up.

I think Slicecom was saying the same thing to me at the end of the first Suzuka PP600 race.
Excellent racing tonight, as PP600 seems perfect for the 512 and M3. It's great to get those cars out on the track competitively with pro settings!
passed at the very last second by earth. man and i was only 100 yards away from the line too.
You gotta stop throwin' it away in the last turn man!
