I remember one race at the fast left hander before the chicane. I was braking at my usual spot, and I think I had bump on you by accident (not too sure). I was like "crap! I forget you have to brake earlier than my WRX", so I kinda dodged to the grass and I received a penalty, but the worst thing was the forced slow-down made my car spinning out big time.

I think I remember that. The ol' Boxer of Doom has older brakes, and thus takes a bit more to stop her. Takes off like a bullet out of the corners, if I can get the throttle control just right, though. My Black 512BB (Black Boxer of Doom), Graphite Citroen C4 (Silver Bullet), and my White NSX Type R (ummm...... unnamed) are my absolute favorite cars to drive thus far. I am loving them to death. They all seem to hold there own in there respective classes.

Has anyone found 500PP races to be more exciting than 750PP?

I don't know about "more exciting" necessarily, but definitely a fun time to be had. I've been spending a lot of time in the 500pp class events.

it is much more fun, and more skill based rather than relying on brute power. i had a go earlier with two gtp members. it was awesome. there's almost no room for error or you get left behind, and i found less punters go to those races.

I was one of those 2 members. I had a lot of fun racing with you two. As you said, we all had to keep the pace up or be left behind. Great fun. 👍

Man a strange day of racing for sure, the hosts quitting was bad, I kept getting booted out of the races, punters was about normal but 1 guy made me feel like a pin ball!
The aptly named Ram1999 in a tuned viper kept ramming me & that would send me flying into the people around me.
I caused a huge cluster on the long sweeping left hander right after the esses at Suzuka when my pedals came unplugged when I was in a pack of cars!
So anyone I nailed by being punted or shutting down in the fast corner...sorry!

But I made enough credits to finish buying all the cars, all I have left is 3 more F2007's so I have both numbers in both colors.

I had the pleasure of racing you at Suzuka 750pp. Crazy races. A lot of punters in the back of the pack. If you could stay above 6th, you were ok, but if you dropped under 10, you were in for a world of hurt. I was surprised to win a couple of our races, as I have never driven the Mines R34 GTR (just tuned it for the event), nor have I ever entered a 750pp race before (I accepted an invite from Sphinx). I had a hell of a time keeping the back end of that GTR from swinging wide. Quite a brute. I had a lot of fun, when the servers weren't kicking us off (which was a lot).

Finally...

Dirty Racer Update

nascartyT00 [US] - Using other cars as brakes, sideswiping, aggressive blocking.

racecleanmorrons [US] - This ironically named specimen liked to bump, and sideswipe.

As for the 750pp races it looks like more and more people are shifting to AWD cars to try and cope with the increased speed and power. I was a Ford GT fan long before this game came out, so I will stick with the concept for 750pp races. The decreased weight makes the car harder to drive, not easier as I had thought.

I've finally found a good car for 600pp races, but the AWD cars outrun it quite easily at Suzuka, but the car handles like a dream and is fun to drive. FR/MR for life

I'm still looking for a 500pp car, I tried the Mini but GTP_Slicecom stomped a mudhole in it. BTW slicecom I experienced pedal problems in our race the other day and that's why I didn't keep racing even after you slowed down for me, I couldn't get more then 50% gas.

Has anyone else noticed that the F2007 HSR Reverse races are quite trashy? Suzuka should have been the second F1 race

I just raced 750pp Suzuka for the first time. Mines R34 GTR. AWD, but not very easy to control. Very much rear wheel biased. I had a great time racing you guys. Look forward to more in the future.

;)

I think my Viper has actually improved with running at 750pp instead of 700pp, I've been able to lower the weight a lot to improve handling.

I'll be online at Suzuka 500pp Pro around 6pm (PST), if anyone wants a good clean race.

;)

On HIGH SPEED RING 750PP PRO right now....nobody there, owning everyone :)

GTP_Div

EDIT : Left HSR...too many boy racers there, going to Suzuka 750PP PRO where the bumpers go off track and stay there:)

EDIT2: At Suzuka PRO 600PP now. Please, a sincere challenge anyone:)?

Anyone up for the F2007 (F1) at Fuji around 9:30 Eastern? I'll be their. i'll prbly be their the rest of the night.

I'll be looking for you Earth, for some more great racing.

Meet me and GTP_Mighty_Mopar at F2007 Fuji F @ 9:30est if you want a challenge

What care are you using for 600pp anyway?

GTP_potatochip and I have been running a few races together at Suzuka 500pp. It's lonely with just the two of us. I need to pass S-10 before I can buy my F1.

I was at Fuji for an hour & a half but missed you, but I'll be back on Fuji F1 at 12:30 eastern after the NHRA qualifying.

Back on suzuka 750, and boy are there some idiots on there at the moment. I'm just sat off track waiting for the next race so I can record it.

1 lap = punted off x 4

Yes, was racing with you.

MDXCrashKing - what an asshole, 2 races, each time I was in front, each time he rammed me. FORD GT LM SPEC

Going back to Suzuka

WTF is up with those GTRs on Suzuka. Got bumped off 4 times, yay!

We badly need private lobbies.

Has anyone of you had the chance to start at the front?
I keep being a back starter and having to work my way through the debri.

The idiot scale is off the charts at Suzuka right now. I'm done there

I'll see you guys at 12:30 est F2007 Fuji

Lower your pp a bit. There's only you and one other who's on 750, so you will end up at the back every time

I had my PP lowered all the way to 744 and still started 9th every time, with a horde of 725pp GTRs etc ahead of me that slowed me down and allowed guys from behind to catch me and you know what happens next

Private lobbies is the only way to ensure a clean race

Ask Div how a certain driver of a certain Tuned clio managed to ruin a 6 car race with 4 GTP members in it

Sphinx I did see you break out to a big lead, I was behind but could only close .5 a lap even witih 20 more pp, but the host quit on us.

So even if you manage to escape the violence you got a good chance the host will quit when the fast guys take off up front....

Yeah, it was manic out there tonight. If it wasn't for you guys showing up when you did I would've quit ages ago.

One guy called bluferrari was my nightmare. I was so itching to punt that guy off the track. I off course held back and parked up instead, that's when you parked next to me I believe.

I honestly think that a lower pp is more beneficial in the long term. OK, so you loose performance, but if it means keeping ahead of the idiots for the first lap, then I doubt you'll see them again after that anyway because they will be too busy punting each other off.

The first set of esses are so important to get through without hindrance. After that it's a breeze. :nervous: ;)

Did you see how he rammed me off at the end to take the win by 0.0023 seconds?

I nearly threw my TV remote through the window.

I didn't see you out there tonight, but I know what you mean..I started recording my races tonight and I will show you guys the crap I put up with tonight. There was not a single race where I wasn't bumped, rammed or pushed off the track. That is 7 races I recorded.. Plus you guys get to hear my hilarious commentary when I get upset with the "hacks". I would have loved to race with you guys.. But that hacks f'ed me up.

I saw that crap. He roughed me up as well as other GTP members.

The next race I did all I could to smash his car to bits but somehow he escaped. That always happens, they get me and when I try to retaliate I can't because I don't practice dirty moves. I guess it comes naturally to some.

There's something about Clio drivers they all appear to be horrendous drivers, and the idea I can see the driver sitting in the Clio from behind in the cockpit view gets me that much angrier.

You can't trust anyone who doesn't have a GTP tag

Tonight's "racing" at Suzuka reached the lowest of low. The drivers were inconsiderate and rammers, yet they had the skill to keep their cars on the track (or should I say ALL OVER the track). That's a VERY dangerous combination. I expected to see at least one of them go off in turns 1 and 2 at the start, but they never did despite large amounts of contact between them.

I remember getting held up by 2 cars in front to have this tuned Corvette go around me in the bend leading to Degner curve, and of course he over shot the braking point by a country mile and wiped out the 2 cars ahead of me but he just ghosted for a couple of seconds but stayed on track while they spun 100 meters into the sand trap. How fair.

Div you said you saw me get rammed at Suzuka right before a disconnect, haha I thought it was you because you were the next car I saw. I was real upset when it happened because people kept bumping me and I kept barely holding the car on track and then that final big one you saw just made me furious.

I tried to pass people in the final chicane but they would turn into me like I wasn't there, guys would pull onto the track after a spin without evening looking for others, someone in a tuned white Evolution X ran me off the track on the straights TWICE in two seperate races on purpose.

When you're holding the wheel and they hit you the wheel jerks, and I swear it feels like they're punching me in the jaw each time they do it.

This isn't racing, this is madness.

EDIT: Looking forward to seeing the videos CWR 👍
