And please, be sure to submit an Incident Report Form which can be found on the OP.

I won't be quitting because of the colour. It'll be what the organisers say or do about yesterday's disaster.

You still need to change your car color to the proper color please.
Thank you :)

Some of you had a pretty bad race yesterday, especially due to the PD servers whihch were definitely not stable.
Fo this reason, Staff decided that there will be 2 dropped rounds this season, not only one.
It means that only your best 6 round results will count for the championship.

Thank you for your understanding.

What happens about race 2 and the people who got dc'd at the same time? Do we get points or not?

Yes, it is stated in the rules, if a driver quits however they do not receive any points.

I think that should be waived temporarily given the massive internet problems everyone was experiencing. Just my two cents.

Drivers that have dc'd receive points don't get me wrong, they don't recieve points if the quit from the race and leave the lobby.

Isn't fillo a full season driver? Did he not replace oz?

Oh, so those who DC'd involuntarily are still classified. Gotcha. :)

No he just took the Viper. As we said you can change your car before the season starts.
He is still a reserve driver however.

OK one more, when will the results be posted?

Working on it right now;).

However once we get all the reports in we will update the standings.
No worries mate! Ii dont think ther will be many TBH, didn't see many incidence abart from the odd spin now and then.

If you speak about this incident, this is just a racing incident, no penalty can be given here.

Agreed! Glad no one saw my spin on the first lap of the sprint XD

OK, Standings are updated (still provisional until Stewards are done with the incident reports). Before asking any question, please click on "Round 1" text, just above the Austrian flag to see race details. If you still don't find the answer to your question or if I really made a mistake, please say the word here.

Nice work litchi, It's alot of info to put together must be stressful

I wouldn't say that it's stressful as I'm not the guy who practice and race this season. I guess drivers and especially race directors have more stress than me ahah. It's more a time consuming than something else lol.

Which is more stressing for me is to give the good guideline to the Admins / Stewards. Manage a group, juggle with the schedules, keep things in place, collect datas etc is quite more stressing than a simple Standing Board, I confess :p

That's the point of racing in a series, I don't feel any stress. Working on a tune from scratch for each track to get it optimized is part of the fun, not as fun as the racing but still ;)

The inside work is very stressful/complicated at times, going into it back in Season 1, I had no idea how crazy it was behind the scenes, however, this is perfect practice for my future business career.

I deal that with my current job -_-

Reminder: There is no race this Sunday due to GTPES.
Damn, I totally forgot that it wasn't on due to that, especially since now that we weren't racing lol. But of course there's plenty drivers in our series who have made it through, btw congratulations :).
At least can get lots of practice this time!

Despite all the drama I came out the other end with some points, not so bad... I really did not feel like including that round and for everybody else, but looking back everybody did get on with racing, when it finally did start and the endurance race seemed quite nice for those whose luck was good and didn't disconnect. I held on but everything that happened pre-race and from qualifying for AM was still very much on my mind and I couldn't help feeling empathic for everybody, which caused me mistakes and 0 focus. I wouldn't even get into a post-race report on my results cause honestly I can't even remember since my mind wasn't in the racing... But happy hung on and with our Steward's decision of an extra drop round, I hope everybody else feels the same and we can focus on Laguna Seca now ;).

This I found out just yesterday lol, my first season and my first race host with connection dramas. Boy did I have a nice surprise :scared:

When I was in army, we were used to say "Hard training, easy war" 👍

Just a couple of things about the AM endurance race. Why is it full points after it was such a mess and only 40 minutes? Also how did you come up with the order of the dc'd guys at the same tIme?

If you read this post, you'll see that an additional dropped round will basically fix that problem. To make some tricks with the points is not a good way to go because we can't be 100% accurate doing this.
Also how did you come up with the order of the dc'd guys at the same tIme?
Answer is in "Disconnection" section in the rules' page.

Ok I can understand the first part but the disconnection order is a terrible rule.

This I need plenty of ;)

You, miley, pj and Morgan had all disconnected at the same time so your fastest laps were taken into order.

My night was eventful...

Qualifying

I got off to an O.K. start, I started my first lap and immediately ran wide onto the astro-turf at turn 1 and sent the car mega sideways. I lost about 1.3-1.5 seconds on that lap, which I ran perfectly all the way round afterwards. My next lap I nailed turn 1 in 3rd gear and headed up to the second corner, I braked late like I usually do but I forgot to shift to 2nd and I ran the car super wide, which cost me about a second after avoiding astro-turf and headed straight for grass to get back on the road. I qualified 7th, but was knocked down to 9th. Well done to @Ramalhinho91 on pole. 👍

Sprint

The grid was shuffled but I started 9th, I lost sight of 3 drivers during the process of the game setting up the race, so apologies if I bumped into anyone at the start. I started decently but then shifted to 4th by mistake . I came to the first corner dead last, and I saw my teammate @j1Nk facing backwards on the exit of turn 1 and I made up 2 or 3 places. Coming to the second corner I was following 2 of 3 Nissan's, and when I realised I was braking way later than them I had to change lanes to avoid them and since there was no other way to go I went to the inside. I dabbed the brakes a tiny bit while I bumped one of them but didn't cause them damage because it was a tiny tap. But while dabbing the brakes @SSJGZWarrior ran into the back of me and gave me left-rear suspension damage (my fault mate, I obviously caught you out with me braking a little more). The damage wasn't too extensive so I carried on and coming to the third corner I was on the outside of one of the Nissan's and I then put a wheel on the grass in the braking zone and slid off of the circuit, dropping me to the back. I then charged my way back up the field, with damage. I overtook a BMW, a Nissan and an Audi. A few drivers then disconnected, which I think were behind me. I kept going until I finished 5th. I felt it was a good race and I hadn't actually properly raced since before Christmas so I was a little out-of-practice but I felt I managed it quite well. Well done to @Ramalhinho91 on winning the sprint race.

Endurance

I started the pace lap, and everyone behind me fell behind (not entirely sure why, I was doing 62mph / 100kmh), then the top 4 got into really close proximity on the front straight before we went. I timed the start just right and jumped @PJTierney to run into the first corner. @j1Nk again made a mistake, running 1 or 2 others wide at the first corner and I capitalised on that and moved into the lead. I kept going until about lap 3 or 4, when my lead extended to about 8 seconds, and then I spun . But I kept the lead and started to pull out again. People behind me started to pit from damage, until @yuc2002 and @BAZZER were behind me, I pulled my lead out to 4 or 5 seconds before @BAZZER spun and pit for damage (I think) so it was me and @yuc2002. I extended my lead to 9 seconds before disconnecting half way through :banghead:. But well done to @Toshost on winning the Endurance, even though I couldn't see you lol.
