Well, after several frustrating matches this morning I finally tried out Lucio. Oh my god he is such a relief. As Mercy, I feel like I can barely help the team at all when I get Roadhooked instantly, and then my team stands in direct fire while her healing staff takes forever to bring them up. With Lucio, all I have to do is literally look at my teammates and they get boosted. Of course, his AoE healing doesn't do much, but thankfully you have Amp It Up to help out. Also, I LOVE being able to get the team onto the point faster. It makes the comebacks easier when you have a long respawn timer.
The only problems I have would be as follows:
• The healing feels rather slow without Amp It Up.
• I can barely hit anything with his projectiles. I'd be happy with Sombra's machine pistol since at least that is hitscan.
• Wallrunning looks pretty hard to do on a controller and I'm not sure if I really need to utilize it.
Obviously, most of these things can be overcome with practice, but I am really enjoy him right now. Forget Mercy, Soldier, or McCree. I think Lucio will be my main now.
By the way, does anyone know if having multiple Lucios on one team will boost the healing even further?
Naturally, Lucio isn't going to be the only DPS hero, but I do NOT want to rely on teammates. SERIOUSLY WHY DO I GET PUT WITH OTHER BEGINNERS BUT THE ENEMY TEAM HAS LEVEL 75S AND ABOVE?!
She appears to be a fan of Lucio too.
