Lords and serfs. It's pretty crazy to see all the toys for the ultra billionaires of today.

Yeah :ouch:. Crazy story how the other millionaire bought 2 of them :grumpy:.

I want to make love to it and make little babies with it.

Dat...Ass...

The black makes it look even better 👍

The sound is perfect for a Zonda, and so different from the Huayra!

The only thing I'd change is the paddle-shifter, H-pattern FTW! :sly:

I have a feeling this was what was mentioned in the drive channel's behind the scenes video at Pagani. Only uploaded a day earlier. Forgot at what time it was mentioned in the video, but well worth watching the whole video. :D

Looks amazing!

I want that so much! Shame I'm about 1.6 million quid short....

That sound:drool: What a beautiful piece of art! It's way to nice to even be considered a car.

Nobody can pronounce Huayra. I wonder if they could frankenstein the back of one to the front of a Zonda. I'd go for that.

i love the no paint all carbon option.

is it just me or when he drives the 760rs doesn't he look like an old agent smith from the matrix?

I knew you guys would like it :sly:.

PD if youre watching, you know what do. You can start the modelling right now. Thank you :sly:.

760LH... ex formula 1 world champion... wonder who that could be then?

In all seriousness, I find the continued release of 'this is absolutely the last if the range' Zonda's to be getting a bit boring now. The S models were lovely, the F and Clubsport took it to another level, but the Cinque and subsequent 'limited editions' feel more like Horatio is just pandering to the needs of the super rich for something different/unique in a bid to make money.

What incentive do they have to not sell exclusive models? He isn't sandbagging existing Zonda owners, as many new features and options on the newest versions can be retrofitted by Pagani to older models (Mr. Metcalfe has done this himself with his base C12).

Additionally, there aren't very many consumer goods you can buy for 2 million dollars that don't get you an amount of flexibility and personalization. It is expected at that level of purchase. Ignoring the needs of your clients out of honour is bad business.

That being said - this car seems to completely miss its mark as a street-alternative to the Zonda R. Sure, it can be put on the street, but it doesn't seem any more usable than the track version with plates and maybe a little quieter. If you want to go balls out then go to the track with an R, but if you're on the street it seems that this will have too many compromises in favour of performance that can only be exploited on circuit anyway. I think the sweet spot for the Zonda was somewhere around the S7.3 or maybe F, which had a good balance of usability between the road and the track.

The Zonda is still in the 3 car dream garage for me though, 10+ years later.

Absolutely the only Supercar I'd ever bother to spend my millions on if I ever do win the lottery (please, God :D)... but would be nothing later than an F or a Clubsport in black or white & carbon (nothing too flashy) with a discrete interior and must have a manual gearbox. I sometimes think Zonda's maybe became a bit 'chavvy' as they got more 'exclusive'.... like they created their own 'Mansory Zonda' with some of the 1 offs.

Harry's car would absolutely perfect as far as I'm concerned. That, an X5 4.0D Sport and a GT3RS 4.0 in my garage and I'd never even look at another car.

*Yawn* Yet another Zonda. At this rate, they'll have more models than 911 lineup..

I love how Pagani keeps bringing out "Special Editions" and saying, "Oooohh this is the last one." Then somebody with a crapload of money comes by and they make another one. Great looking Zonda though. 👍

Something most of us will never ever touch in our lifetimes. It's nice knowing another Zonda came out, but meh, just makes me sad to see such a beautiful machine while knowing that I'll never ever be able to drive it in my lifetime.

Stunning, orgasmic, just unbelievable, I love Pagani!

Just spoted the Evo vid, I thought someone would beat to posting it!

Here's some more stuff....

Props to Hamilton for ordering his with a manual 'box, because 'his company car has a paddle-shift'. Would prefer it if the carbon-fibre was painted instead of finished bare. Would look less garish and would be lighter that way.

This is cool and all, and I'd love to have one, but when will Pagani start actually producing Huayara? At least special editions of it?

It seems like everybody loves the Zonda while the Huayara is being ignored.

Most likely because the Zonda is a better and more emtionally desirable car.

V12 Twin-turbo<7.3 V12 screaming goodness.

From their recent press release...

PAGANI AUTOMOBILI ANNOUNCES RAMP UP OF PAGANI HUAYRA PRODUCTION

San Cesario sul Panaro, Modena, Italy.
Geneva, Switzerland. March 4th 2012

 Pagani Huayra production ramping up
 Deliveries in Europe and Asia
 New Pagani quality control management
 New production facilities operational in 2012
 Development for the Pagani Huayra U.S. certification on track

2011 has been a very important year for Pagani. The success of the launch of the new Huayra, after 7 years of hard work, has been rewarded with over 85 confirmed orders. The targets for production, turnover and profits have been achieved.

The European version has been certified with extraordinary results regarding the targets for safety and emissions; the latter success is shared with Mercedes-AMG. The Pagani Huayra has the lowest CO2 emissions and fuel consumption of any 12-cylinder sportscar. The 700.000 km of Dynamic tests have been completed in a variety of climatic conditions with 5 prototypes, have confirmed the expectations regarding reliability and performance that Pagani Automobili and its technical partners set out to achieve.

Together with the Euro 5 emission certification in November 2011 and the continuing work on the US homologation, Pagani has also implemented a new management system that redefines the term of quality: the Pagani quality method. Including some of the most severe procedures derived from the aerospace industry, the Pagani quality method expands beyond the technical and technological perfection and includes the artistic and design quality. Quality is born with the drawing, with shape, before reaching the technology. Art and science must walk together, hand in hand.

“In 2012 25 Huayras will see the light of day, another 40 will follow in 2013. The first deliveries will be made in April. The Pagani Huayra represents a global project for Pagani Automobili. The Pagani dealership family has grown in 2011 and 2012 with new dealerships in Chile, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, the United Kingdom and in the United States, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco. Nonetheless Pagani is very strict about safeguarding the exclusivity of its small volume production in the respective markets.”

Alberto Giovanelli, head of Sales at Pagani Automobili.

“We are very enthusiastic about the public’s reception of the newborn Pagani Huayra. It has always been our intent to unite art and technology and our customers and car enthusiasts were able to see these values that accompany us every day in the Huayra. All this is further confirmation of our approach to combine art and science by the means of meticulous research.”

Horacio Pagani, founder and chief designer at Pagani Automobili.

The completion of the new production facilities, already partly operational and hosting the development department for the past two years, will be completed in 2012, and will allow the company to meet the increased demand coming from PaganiÂ’s new markets: China, India, Japan, Taiwan and the United States of America.

Plans for the expansion have been extended to allow the construction of a larger state of the art Research and Development facility for innovative concepts as well as a new laboratory for advanced composites. This new final project has 40% additional factory surface, compared to the previous plans made public by Pagani Automobili in 2010.

Pagani Automobili has always made extensive use of advanced composites in its tailor made pieces. Developing new materials and production techniques has allowed improving safety, lowering the weight and consequently lowering emissions on its vehicles.

The introduction of the Pagani Huayra in the United States of America has been received with great enthusiasm and the strong demand from this territory confirms the efforts of Pagani Automobili. The first US spec Pagani Huayras, certified according to the highest US safety as well as CaliforniaÂ’s emission standards, will be delivered in 2013.

Zonda R track program

In 2011 a dedicated team of mechanics, engineers and test drivers, has followed the privileged Zonda R owners over the world. This program will be carried on. The Zonda R has been a laboratory to test components, technologies and new solutions that have then been integrated in the Pagani Huayra. The research and development activities will continue in 2012, backed up by the work of our technical partners AMG, Aspa, Brembo, MHG and Pirelli.

The last 5 units of the Zonda R will be built in 2012, completing the limited production run of 15 vehicles.

The only thing I don't like about Pagani is that the whole dash reflects in the windshield on a sunny day when you'd have the car out. That's picking nits.

Most likely because the Zonda is a better and more emtionally desirable car.

V12 Twin-turbo<7.3 V12 screaming goodness.

What good is that screaming engine if that turbo passes you up?

Besides that v12 turbo is no librarian. And it's not like the Huayara lacks any emotion...it just looks more portly.

And thanks for the info Neal.👍

My oh My, the sound, the sound!!!

They should bring back V12's to Formula 1.

but the Cinque and subsequent 'limited editions' feel more like Horatio is just pandering to the needs of the super rich for something different/unique in a bid to make money.

....or rather, the rich ask them to build it regardless of money. 👍

They don't build it and wait for orders, they draft them up when someone asks for it, that's how hand crafted supercar business works. The fact that we know about it is just consequential.
