[PC] DCS 1.5 & 2.0 Open Alpha

How many vehicles are there in DCS that are AI-exclusive? I've seen videos of players in fighter jets "harassing" large jets (Which I believe were AI-controlled) by forcing them to move to another runway or abort a landing.

That happened to me when I made my own mission and accidentally tried to land formation AI flight at the same airport.. AI is pretty nice in DCS but sometimes they do really dumb things. They tried over and over again. There's been a lot of updates so I would guess that has been fixed.

I see they still haven't fixed the memory leak with the latest update. Multiplayer is a lot better for me as in I can actually fly around other people now. But after about 30 minutes it's back to being horrible again (locking up when looking around, stuttering like mad, planes going whack when taxiing) and I can't use my computer for about a minute after shutting down Digital Crap Simulator because everything is locked up. Is this happening to anyone else? If not I may try reinstalling... I love this game but it makes me :banghead: so much

You're right but uuuuugh. It wasn't so bad tonight actually. I was in a free flight server for about 3 hours and was able to fly near people without stuttering. It ended up being productive too... I made my first carrier landings in the Su33!
 
Fun night flying with randoms. Two F15s were flying together through the mountains and I joined them. We ended up flying to different ends of the map in loose formation just because. Eventually got a 4th to join us. Just some nice, relaxing, enjoyable flying. Then the kids showed up and started gunning down people on the tarmac (in a non-armed free flight server...) because we can't have nice things. 👎

Anyway, here's our group at a pit stop. I'm the one that isn't matching.

The updater has been running for four hours and this is how far I've gotten. 350 MB in about four hours. I gave up after it was stuck at 0.0KB/s for about ten minutes. Maybe you guys will have better luck but don't expect to play this anytime soon.

Interesting. I had a second go and it didn't seem to be a torrent this time. I got it in about 20 minutes. Now back to the regularly scheduled buggy multiplayer programming :D
 
Also amazing news guys, they fixed all the big bugs in the MiG 21 and added new liveries. :bowdown:

(It still doesn't have cockpit back lighting though as far as I know. But hey nothing is perfect right?)
