Finnaly a understanding post..👍

So far i will spend 30 euros and on what..???' some shift drift colours, some cars i didnt use not once and only thing i used from these dlc is the spa..

They are selling me a test track..???🤬 you pd..

If you haven't used the cars after you bought them then that's your fault, last time I checked you could buy SPA Francorchamps separately, so really you're angry about not using cars that you had the choice of not buying.

No, they are only selling you it if you choose to buy it. If you don't buy it they have sold you nothing.

I don't understand the hate ... its a game with quite a wide range of features. I like having extra content, and don't mind paying for it. You don't like it - okay that is up to you .... but to hate ... I don't get that at all.

Seasonals have been free extra content - some say that PD owed them to us ... really? They didn't have add these, I'm please they did so weekly/fortnightly as opposed to say monthly, i'm thankful that they did. It seems that they have generally been used by large numbers - see the number of posts about the last B-Spec for proof.

So far they've cost me just over £12 - and am very much looking forward to taking the Aston Martin for a spin. Have I had my value for money - course not, but I will do as I slowly go through and use the extra content I've bought.

I've wasted on more money on far more serious things in my life ... I bought a Volvo 850 AWD once ... now that really was a waste of money! A few £s on a game every once on a while, yeah no problem!

Ok, for the first id like to say im not against paying some cash for some cars and tracks afcors whit some reasonable prices but whit the new update this will come to almost 30e for now.. and i didnt get any new tracks that we all wanted that bad.. so if the DLC is coming every 2 month this will mean that i will spend throo the whole year around 60e.. or maybe more..

Right now i realised that gt5 was a scam of a life.. unfinished game.. they didnt have time to make premium cars.. yea right!!!

Judging by that gt5 will be the most expensive game out there.. am i the only one seing this..???

p.s. im a big gt fan folowing the series but these things just provocate me to say and ask these things..

wtf is this? one of the most supported games in history is getting ripped because they are offering DLC? are you expected to buy the DLC? are you forced to buy the DLC?. So yes you are the only one seeing this, people like you are bringing the credibility of this site down.

They are selling me a test track..???🤬 you pd..

Nobody forces you to BUY IT...

Don't buy it my friend, where is the problem? Oh, I know - you'd like to have it, but for free. Well, really?

In that case, I wish you to work for free in your life - at least in Croatia you can do it almost everywhere, go to Dalamacijavino or any other bankrupted company - and feel the joy of giving someone something made out of your own work without any compensation.

Prior to the release of the game all imaginable content was well known on the very official pages through deeply informative posts about the incoming game, and we're talking months prior to the release.

Thanx to PD, those articles are still available on the very same page:

Only thing I can find there where something was left out although being announced is point-to-point Course Maker courses which we'll eventually get someday. But that is not the issue here.

I really do not see your point, sorry. If I was either PD or SCE and I invested some serious manhours into producing some additional content for my product, be sure I would also ask for a financial compensation.

And really, paying an amount of 3 coffees in local bar (Croatian prices here, in London you can buy one coffee for 3 euro) in order to get an asset and functionality you will probably use for hours in game you allegedly love to play.. well, really, don't be such a nitpicker. Really.

Because, at the end - nobody forces you to pay anything. Really.

I've watched the Spec II intro a million times, would you care to point out to me where exactly I should be looking that will make this unfinished state obvious?

And only seeing a minor part of the track makes you think it was finished? what proof do you have that it was finished? none as far as I'm concerned.

What part of you don't have to buy it can you not comprehend? At least 8 people have explained to you and you keep saying the same thing. Are you just reading the posts tha you want to? Might explain a few things........:indiff:

To all people that are saying that PD is being very unfair because of the DLC's ,CHECK FIRST WHAT CODEMASTERS DID TO DiRT3 DLC's, than we talk later!!!

Does anyone else find it strange that we haven't heard from the man himself about any of this. All the info we have is from this random guy who leaked a few tidbits. All the other websites, including PS Blog, are just showing the same things that GTPlanet had two days ago. Maybe there's more to the DLC than has been told so far. Right now, to me anyway, everthing's speculation until I hear something from Mr. Yamauchi.

^Generally, if something is confirmed by an official source (I.E. PS Blog, Kaz, Space Empire) then it's real.

I don't think people understand that you don't have to buy everything that comes out. This is why everyone is broke. You see, you don't have to pay for it! If you want to play on it, you do, but that's the wonderful world of economics. If you want something, you gotta pay for it. If you don't want it, then you can continue on with your life, and act as if it doesn't exist!

Please tell me when one of you people who are starting these threads are starting a company. Can't wait to get everything from you for free!

I would be very angry if PD started releasing DLC's right after the game was launched,BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE, it´s been a year since gt5 was launched and they started releasing in november 2011, Codemasters released their DLC's 1 or 2 months after DiRT3 being launched, THEY were hungry for money!!

In my opinion i think PD respects their costumers all over the world....

I would be very angry if PD started releasing DLC's right after the game was launched,BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE

EXACTLY!

We've had a year of updates, and Seasonal Events before DLC even started. Not to mention, this stuff wasn't in the game over a year ago, it's new. And at that point the game still hadn't worn off.

$6-$14 over 2 months or even a month is 2 stops at a burger joint. It's not life threatening.

Purchasing DLC pays for more updates and more DLC. The last time I checked that costs PD to make. Case in point the marketing comapny I work for charges a minimum of $75 per hour. That gets split between the overhead to run the company.

To all people that are saying that PD is being very unfair because of the DLC's ,CHECK FIRST WHAT CODEMASTERS DID TO DiRT3 DLC's, than we talk later!!!

What!!!! I bought the one with Monte Carlo Track, and i have enjoyed it. I even knew it was already in the disc. There were other DLCs in Dirt3, i did not get them. I did not start a thread complaining about it.

And it's all a matter of opinion. The base game did not seem incomplete to me. The DLCs where getting are not already in the disc. Yes, yes, some folks would say "show me proof", well then ... show me proof otherwise.

Like everyone says, you do not have to buy it. I really do not see the point of this thread, it seems to be another disappointment thread which we already have ... somewhere.

as someone said, this third batch of dlc costs one trip to the burger joint ($12, including transportation and something to drink).

In the end only kids complain about GT5's dlc pricing since they got the game for free or bought it for $60 or less. They don't include the cost of their ps3, wheel, tv, home theater and accessories.

Agreed, I really believe it's the younger crowd creating these threads and continuously beating a dead horse. The title generally gives hints to age. I'll revert back to the eight words that make the most sense.

If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Yes really.. its a test track amar, a test track.. the thing should have been implemented from the beggining and now they are selling it to me..:banghead:

Im sorry if you dont realise my friend where is the problem, like i said in the OP i dont have anything against paying but give us some good material to bye it, thats all..

And how come i will not bye it when the game is incomplete.. i will dlc the cars and the track.. just because its a incomplete game, they are forcing you to bye it..

P.s. i dont know where do you drink your coffe but by judging the prices, you should change the place.. they are robbing you!!!

Paying for CONTENT: I'm okay with this.

Paying for FEATURES (especially one that appeared in all previous titles): Nope.

If Track X was just another track and didn't have the Machine Test feature, I wouldn't care less and wouldn't bother posting about it.

I wonder which features will be taken out of GT6 and replaced by DLC? The option to use manual gears? Replays? Change view? Colour graphics? :D

I've watched the Spec II intro a million times, would you care to point out to me where exactly I should be looking that will make this unfinished state obvious?

I think it was talked about in this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=239111&page=5

Now whether what I'm assuming is right or wrong doesn't really matter, what matters is that they didn't just "copy and paste" Route X from GT4 and some serious modeling had to have taken place.

Then your definition of good material is that you want what you want and not what they are offering. And the game IS complete its just people expected a lot more. And nobody is FORCING YOU TO BUY IT. Stop saying you are forced to buy it. Is somebody threatening you if you don't buy it?

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
QFT

Let's just reply to that guy like Stephen220378 did.

from now on

A test track is, in reality, more useful than the first track pack we got. No track has to have the levels of detail that they really have, but how would they get away with releasing a blank track, even if it is just for testing? He's being unreasonable.

This, too. 👍

Ok, here's my point, Dirt 3 was launched almost in June, in July and August they released all their dlc's.Dirt 3 wasn't cheap in that time, and I was very upset that monte carlo, shibuya, the lancia delta, stratos, ford escort mk2 and the peugeot 205 had to be paid instead of being in the game right away, I felt that they were ripping off everyone, if they released now, it would be a different story, but i did what you said, i just ignored and play other games despite being upset about what they did.

But PD did a good job releasing dlc's now, i think they are respecting us but this is just simply my opinion.

SIMPLE FRIGGEN ANSWER..don't like it don't buy it!!!!! How many freaking times!!!!!

Whell its a test track right, did the other titles have that implemented..? i mean its a basic component of a racing title like gt, right..?

No, its called Route X:rolleyes:. It can be whatever you want it to be. Daytona could be a test track. Top Gear could be a test track. You can test almost anything you want pretty much at any track.

Whell its a test track right, did the other titles have that implemented..? i mean its a basic component of a racing title like gt, right..?

And you're complaining, why?

Give us some good stuff, some lost tracks and cars.. am i asking to much..?

So the Lamborghini Aventador, the new Nissan R35 and the Scirroco don't qualify as "good stuff" to you? Is any message sinking in?

Are people really saying they don't want to drive a Beetle? They must be crazy.
No, simply in this World there are people with different opinions. :)
A lot of us would like to,
Ok I'm happy for you.

so I think the people looking forward to this upcoming DLC are in the majority. I'm not all that excited for the Beetle, but it's not like I won't use it. It'll be USEFUL.
Do I have to buy and use something only because others do? Not my way, really.
By the way, a few people on this page brought up some new points that I never really thought about, until now.
I agree DLC is in someway an intangible good. But the point of this game is the "Driving Simulation". When you buy a car you are not forced to buy another pack of cars.
At the end of the day the main reason why they don't let us buy cars singly is... Money. How many people would buy the Nissan Leaf road car singly? I guess not much. In this way they can:
-add the cars THEY want and sell the pack as a whole
-make more money because a "pack" cost 6 euro, a single car would cost 1.

instead, with MY money I would like to buy the cars I want, without all these corporate limitations.

So the Lamborghini Aventador, the new Nissan R35 and the Scirroco don't qualify as "good stuff" to you? Is any message sinking in?

No, pure rubish.. honestly.. and i aint troling, what vould i do whit a another gtr.. or a sciroco whit a right side wheel..
