The loading times themself aren't quicker, but it's better managed now. The track menu loads now before the cars, so you can access the tuning menu etc. quicker, but it still takes the same time until you can drive. Definitely better this way, because you can change your setup and track options, while it still loads the initial race in the background.

Yeah, you are absolutly right. The important thing here is the loading management. First it loads the circuit only, so you can see it on the background and change the options while the rest of the line-up cars are loading, you can see it on the list of opponents. And when they are all loaded the game warns you with a sound then you can start the race.

It seems to not do anything until you press something (for me). As soon as I press start or driving options, they begin to load.That's not how it works me for. It quick-loads you to the race screen, where you can adjust settings, driving options and the like, but the cars don't load until you press the start race button, and once you press that you are locked out of doing anything else whilst it loads them.
I've never ever had GT5 freeze on me?
