Don't get me started on how awfully bad it sounds in GT5:irked:

Extremely disappointed after spending 1 million credits on it:(

Please, buy a new pair of glasses! Don't you see the mother of all understeers in the first corner (to begin with). A little respect for the character of the machine needed, to say at least. The car is pure bliss, in my opinion. Donate it to somebody if you don't like it, grrr.

Did you put a race exhaust on it? That could be part of your problem. Compare the stock exhaust to those videos.

MR cars tend to understeer or oversteer based on how you drive them too, so that's no surprise. It's like walking on a knife's edge, but once you get it right, MRs are very capable.

It's 1m cr.lol The best he can do is 'share' it.

Well you can see if you can tune it to eliminate the understeer.

I've actually found tuning pretty fun in GT5. I actually make my Viper (ACR) drivable on GP/D. :D

i have to agree with zedextreme8177, when i bougth the car it was woow :nervous:... a lot of understeer for shure, but if you tune it to your driving stylle the car is very funy to drive.

Okay, I might've been a bit too harsh on the understeer bit:guilty: I did try some tuning and that fixed the problem. Try the TVR Tuscan RM to see what understeer really means:ouch:

Nope, it sounds nothing like a 6 liter V12 should, more similar to a flatplane V8, on stock exhaust. Disappointing because it's one of the most distinctive sounds in the automotive world.

In the first video you posted the Enzo understeers before the driver corrects it and then adds too much power causing it to power oversteer. Seems like the game got it spot on?

Changed the thread title, it is my 2nd favorite car IRL and the engine sound is amazing.

Shame PD didn't get it quite right:(:(

With all the TVRs, you need to make sure the ABS is off (in real life TVRs come ABS-less) or else it will suffer from some understeer. I have the brake set to 3:1 for my G25 pedal.

if you leave the enzo bone stock its pretty amazing, and from the behind view it sounds VERY close to the real thing. I dont know what youre talking about.

PD got it damn perfect as far as Im concerned. The first thing I noticed when I first drove it was the steering ratio of the car. Every car has its own steering ratio in the game, and watching that video just shows that PD got that part right.

I'm talking about understeer on acceleration. I keep ABS off, tried setting the suspension but never fully cured the problem:ouch:

Agreed with the steering, mistake on my part.

But compare these two:

I can't get how anyone can say it sounds good:dunce:

I haven't driven the Enzo yet, but I do have the F40 and let me tell you, I think I made a thread about the F40 being the worst car in the game, it really handles like a POS, getting beat by cars half its power in the game, I came in last place in the Ferrari event with that car and it wasn't even stock. But I fully modded it and tuned the hell out of it and got it to do what I wanted, went back and finished that event in 1st place by a very large margin, and just smoked a Gallardo online last night. I'm so confident in my F40 now that I'm setting up a F40 vs Enzo online race for Sunday afternoon 3/20. Being that the Enzo is a newer improved F40/F50 anyways it cant be as hard to deal with as the F40, it just cant. If you dont want that Enzo I will gladly take it off your hands dude, I cant wait to get my hands on that car. Or if you wana join my race next Sunday thats cool as well. PSN: SleezyBigSlim

I love the F40 stock personally, but you're never gonna beat an Enzo in an F40, perhaps if the F40 is fully tuned and the Enzo is stock, but that isnt exactly a fair race ^^.

The Enzo also has terrible brakes. It's not a super car, it's a car that you show off. I'm just glad they didn't call this car the F60!

The F40 is a great car, but I wonder, where is the F50 in this game?

Not even close.... Enzo might be a great Super Car not the Ultimate

By the time it released, it was maybe the best super car in the world. I think only a MC12 came close.

And yes. You are on of those guy who only think of performance, when speaking of "ultimate super car".
This car came out at 2002, the hight of Michael Schumachers and Ferraris dominance in F1. There are much more people in this world who know what the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari is and think of it as the ultimate driving machine, then people who regard soulless sportscars like a Zonda or Veyron that high.

And yes, just wait till Ferrari releases a successor. Ferrari know how to built high performance vehicles. Those guys are able to build very good race cars, I doubt that Pagani or Bugatti could outperform Ferrari, if Ferrari intented to build a road car with only performance in their mind.

If Ferrari wanted to they could make the fastest car in the world. But they don't want to, they want to make racing cars for the road. For example the Enzo tops out at 221mph, about 20mph short of the McLaren F1 which at the time was the fastest car in the world. Also the Enzo's successor is due soon, we should be seeing drawings of it this year or next.

While this is just speculation on Wikipedia, it says it will have a turbocharged V8, like the F40.

Ferrari already has a car that is better then the Enzo the FXX

I am by no means bashing the Enzo, just not the best. This is completely up to personal choice too. I cant say that some one wouldnt say that the Ultimate car might be a Porsche 911 or even something like a Honda...

well one, ones being driven and the other is being revved. So its going to sound different anyway. 2, the one in that video is tuned. When they're stock they have a much deeper tone, more like the real life one.

1. Enzo was an amazing car, I remember it topped the top gear test track times when it came out, but it was never raced against the Mclaren F1, nor was the F1 time tested. The LM version of the Mclaren F1 most Certaintly would have been faster, as would have the GTR conversions. Since that time was set (some 8-9 years ago if i remember), many many cars have come along and beat it.

2. Pagani Zonda - Since when did these become part of the soul-less crowd? They are beautifully made cars from italy that have managed to pull themselves up where most other small/new car manufacturers have failed. Many of the Zonda's far outpace the Enzo.

3. The Ferrari 458, the Flagship production model road car (available to everybody, you dont need to be best buddies with Mr Ferrari to buy one), was not aimed to be another Enzo, yet this car matches the Enzo on performance, it is so much more well balanced and advancements have moved on so much, it shows how far behind the Enzo is in this day of super cars.

4. The Zonda R, famously destroyed the time that Michael Schumacher set in the Ferrari FXX around the Top Gear test track. The FXX is a track car based on the Enzo, it falls into the same catagory as the Zonda R, being a non road legal race car that you cannot enter into races. I'm sure Ferrari could come along and beat it, but they haven't so such conversation is silly.

FXX?
599XX?
599 GTO?
458 Italia?
458 Challenge?

Ferrari has come a long way since the enzo. As incredible as the enzo is, Even ferraris entry level car, the 458 now outperforms it on a track.
