it's a shame that us steelbook owners don't get the controller skin..

also i'm not sure it's even a steelbook. for example my ps3 KH 2.5 steelbook feels a lot more premium. It's not a huge deal though
 
I am currently watching a Twitch stream on Persona 5. I saw my first battle in Persona 5 a few moments ago. One thing I will say about this game is that its presentation is amazing. This is a great game to look at with the menus and the dialogue. The turn-based action is interesting, and I kind of like the kind of mind games being played during the RPG battles. There is a whole lot of personality with this game. Maybe the only RPG I've ever played that had so much personality to it was maybe the first Yakuza.

From the first screens, it said that Persona 5 celebrated its 20th anniversary. Though for me, I've only heard of the Persona fighting games and seen this first non-fighting Persona. This is a very interesting game. You know, this is a game I actually wouldn't mind playing and logging many hours trying to complete.
 
something I found a bit odd:
The Phantom Thieves Aficionado site is called a "Phan-site". isn't it a "fan-site"? Weird how that was translated
 
I found out that Wakaba Isshiki's (Futaba's deceased mother) English VA is the same VA of Chie.

This is probably just a coincidence, but I've found that during Interrogations, the answers you pick are consistent with the placement. Like when I select the second answer, if i select the second answer again, regardless of the message, it'll always return favorable. This has already happened... i think ten times across multiple persona personalities.

Anyone find it really irritating that Morgana forces you to go to bed? The strangest thing is gameplay resumes when it happens, as if somewhere during development you were able to do something else. Why even resume gameplay when you can't do anything?

With the myriad of times you were forced to go to bed, that time could have been used to make tools, read books, etc. I don't expect to do any Social Links but such a waste of time.. And this is a game with what you do with your time is pretty important.
 
How big is Persona 5 on the PS4? On the PS3 it's 20GB (that's without the Japanese VA DLC).
 
I believe it's around the same

UPDATE: Yep, just checked... it's 23.23 GB on my PS4. Though that's with the Japanese VA dlc.

Like I said earlier in my previous post in this thread, I'll be spending only on the P3, P4, and P4DAN DLC. The reason is the BGM and the costume packs on members (especially Goro).

But its weird that a normal Izanagi and Izanagi Picaro costs more than a Kaguya and Kaguya Picaro (which is a strong Aeon Persona). Oddly enough Orpheus and Thanatos are in the same price.
 
I hafta say, Shadow Shido is a lot like Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising... I wonder if he's an influence of creating the character Shido.

It pisses me off as well, pretty irriating when it happens multiple days in a row.
 
Ah, so I've beaten Persona 5... Clocked at 110 hours. The month of April has flew past me... There is a quite a lot I would like to say, but I don't want to put too many Spoilers in this thread.

I will be doing a NG+, that much is a given. Though probably not at the pace I was going this past month. Probably gonna play on Easy or Safety.
 
So what's everyone's favorite Palace?

Mines is Sae's Palace. Though Futaba's Palace is very close.

At first I felt Okumura's Palace was the top for me, but I dunno... the layout of the place didn't work out for me.
 
Somewhere between 0 and 100%. :P

With the Switch being rather successful so far, I'd imagine it's closer to 100 than 0. But since Persona's never been on a Nintendo platform outside of the Q spinoff, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Odds of it not happening are still pretty large.
