Fine lol. Just doing something whilst there is nothing to do. Ill post them in the gt4 gallery then...

QFT.
There is a reason why there is a GT4 gallery in this forum, so that you could post your GT4 photos in it! Not saying that I don't like your work or anything but I mean those aren't even photoshopped to this threads standards! If this thread gets locked for OT then I have to blame it on you guys...... :grumpy:

That's funny coming from someone who is one of the main sources of off topic posts in this thread.

This thread doesn't have standards, or at least not strict ones anyway. As long as it's a photoshopped car, it can be in this thread. However, like we all should know, there is a line as to what kinds of photoshopped cars can be in this thread, and what is truly photoshopped.

I completely agree, GT4 pictures should not be in this thread. The only exception would be a truly photoshopped car from GT4, rather then a lightly edited picture of the car.

Now, to get this thread back on track I decided to try a Volvo. It's not completely done yet because I ran out of ideas, but I will work on it more some time in the future.

Lowered
Rims added
Opening in bumper enlarged
Side thingy removed (Having a stupid moment, can't remember what it's called)

You added something to the back, actually looks cloned, above the rear bumper. The side thingy is a fender. Didnt really do much but what u did do was of good quality. Maybe you could do a different colour and, adding lids to those head lights would make it look nasty....

Oh crud, I definately need to fix that. As for future plans, I was considering some subtle headlight covers, maybe even trying to integrate it so it's part of the body rather then a cover. I also considered changing the color like you said, but i'm not sure what I'd change it to. At first I was planning on maybe coloring the bumpers, but i'm not too sure about that either.

All the GT4 pics I posted had alot of work done to them, I rebrushed nearly all the reflections and edited it alot. It's basically my first step to rebrushing, I simply posted them to see how people felt about it. I never intended to post plain GT4 pics without any editing done to them. I remember looking back through this thread, back to the 100~ page counts, they were packed with GT4 photoshopped pictures, nobody said anything about them. I wasn't expecting anybody to post raw, unedited pictures in reply to my post. No offence legendary, but IMO those pictures don't even look edited on GT4's photomode itself. Can we just forget about this and move on?

Diablo, those rims have slightly awkward lighting, other than that can't comment on much since you're not complete with it.

Hehe, only I could get away with it. ;) Also I agree with what you say, lets just move on and post some simple chops! 👍 By the way, the Volvo looks sweet!!!! :D

Guess what car it is:tup:

i personally love what i did with the lamp and rims, looks totally different form the bodywork. It's too bad i still lack the ability to render out a large glossy surface in my head, otherwise i would've achieved - what i believe is - an amazing render.

anyway proof it IS a car ran through photoshop completely Link

Nice, don't see any flaws with it really. The grill's lines going vertically should be a bit less noticable I guess.

I don't care for the toon types at all but hey, your good at what your good at and you like what you like. Looks good from what i can see, only thing i would have done differently is revealed down the side of the car until around the B-Pillar or so, but still looks good.

Y The side thingy is a fender.

No, the "side thingy" was body trim, not even close to being a fender...

Yeah sorry, i was having a funny moment aswell:scared:

Lol, it is an audi r8? There is a big R8 in the top right so...go figure. I honestly have no idea about these, so really i can't comment, but i would reveal slightly more of the car.

That looks quite good Trico. 👍 Hope to see the finished work soon...... :D

I would suggest deleting the lens flare and running white gradients over each panel's geometry. I could see how that could be very difficult to do, though.

Is there some kind of custom-shape color-gradient tool in Ps nowadays?

But but but, it is done..

Yeah i was having a dilemma regarding the lens flare, because I wanted to have one spot to be bright white, at the same time hoping you people wouldn't bog me down with it.

Wat's this "panel's geometry" thing?

Custom-shape Color Gradient? no actual tool i think but you can easily just do that with the tools avaiable now.

Thanks for the comments though everybody:tup:

So wait, your just going to show half of the car done? :grumpy:
That has got to be one of the dumbest quotes I ever seen...If he would've showed the whole car, it wouldn't have that nice effect to it, and would basically be a R8 with a black background, even I can do that :dopey:. It takes more skill to make it focus on that part of the car like that though.

I love people that don’t understand jokes......really, I do...

I had no trouble in that department, if you had paid attention to his previous post you would have got the sarcasm.

But its cool, your still a rad guy.

now that breakpoint mentioned it i understood the joke from his first response, but before i didn't know he was joking honestly  it's hard sshowing a sense of humour when its just text.

Look, I didn't expect everyone to spot my sarcasm so you don't have to be pissed about it. The thing is, it does look uncompleted (to me) and if Andy said it was finished, so be it. 👍

Never mind, your not the only one who didn't get it the first time..... :dopey:

Pissed? No one is pissed Muzzy, it just seemed like a retarded quote...

Useless debate!!!!!!!!!! Must we argue over a sarcastic joke?????

So yeah, its my fault for starting the argument. Sorry about that..... :guilty:
Anyways, I'm trying to chop the Ford Flex for Fangio. So how is the image so far? I know its far from completed, but I just want to know where I can improve and make the car look even better. Right now, I'm having a little problem making the color for the car, I was thinking of doing mint color, but either it looks awful or horribly wrong. Now I'm stuck with this 🤬 color...... 👎

I don't know anything about this model of ford so, is this a model being made right now or is this a concept? I would suggest getting a better quality image and also a better angle image. It looks like a over saturated drawing to me. Other than that im no use because that vehicle is just horrible looking. Its like they ripped off a scion and just said ok, lets mesh that with our explorer.

Its going into production. (or already is I think) As for the angle, I could have find a better image than that, but I just found this one on google and used it. But thats not the point, cause I'm just asking how can I change the color without making it look over saturated? I just want it to look natural. You know, like how most of you did.

Oh, if your interested in joining just look here. :)
