It will be three years in March, she is Peruvian, I'm actually in Lima right now for Christmas break.

That's weird that your girl doesn't like Peruvians, my girlfriend doesn't have a problem with Ecuador, but she does hate people from Chile. We actually may be traveling to Ecuador soon if we have the money. We're going to the beaches in the north of Peru and if our cash doesn't run out, we're planning on stopping at Ecuador for a few days.

@Max: It's funny how Latin countries have these rivalries. When I lived in Argentina (about 2 years), I remember Chileans and Brazilians hating on us. Whereas in Italy, we had absolutely no problem with people from Austria (closest to my region), Slovenia, nor Switzerland.

Well, I don't know much about her hometown, but she explained me she was from the coasts of Ecuador. Manta, that is.

She actually doesn't look Ecuadorian, at all. Not even spanish. In Argentina, a lot people don't look spanish either, so I thought she was from there the first time I heard her speaking spanish.

You're the closest, but only because I am mostly Native American. My Mother is Sioux and Irish, and my Father is Six Nations and British. I do like the half Maori idea.
