So how's crossfit going for you? I've been checking out the local club, and I'm generally got a good balance of the different fitness areas (though I've never done any Olympic lifts) so I've been tempted to check it out, but something about combining it all in one work out isn't appealing to me.

I think it's great. I find it a lot more fun than a typical sort of workout because I'm quite competitive so the class environment and racing against the clock seem to work for me.

My fitness has improved out of sight too. Because every workout is so varied and we only do functional movement I seem to be better at everything. I recommend giving it a go for a month or two and see what you think.

I hate plastic cups but it was quite a large engagement party so they didn't have enough cups to go round. I only drink absinthe when it has been warmed and poured through a sugar filter into a shot glass.

Yep, I've lost some weight. Probably around 11 kilos or so... been going to the gym during my lunch hour, jogging abour 4-5 kms. and lifting a bit of weights. I also shaved my beard, but that was abut a year and a half ago, since then I leave the 5-o'clock shade, which some girl had the nerve to say it looked good, so I just shave once a week or so.

I've gone out with that girl about three times already, she sits right next to me at work and we're part of the same creative team and so we get along great. She also happens to be 40 years old... not out of my league, but hey.

Right on buddy, keep up the good work. :tup: I do sort of remember the cutie in your picture, but I could swear she did not look 40. Good for her(good for you? lol), I'm gonna have to go review the picture again after I post this.

Edit: Judging from those pics, she could probably get away with low-30's, maybe 30!

Edit 2: I concur with Neal & Diego. Not a good idea. I had a close call, long time ago, but nothing compared to many that I've witnessed. It usually get very unpleasant for everyone involved, I've even witnessed a Hiroshima-equivalent of one. Love triangle, and it involved my friend. I can't even begin to describe the ugly (public)mess that turned into!
