No no no, it should say instead "Because "normal" facepalms just aren't hip enough." :sly:

It is hard with your eyes closed to be fair to you though :)

I do adore your flattery however, the brutal truth is I mistook my foe's Queen for a kKing and was well and truly 🤬.

👍

It's normal to be horrified when you find out the queen is really a king. In chess, at least you're the winner when that happens.

Yep, I look Chinese despite my Filipino nationality.

Look at that water... So nice and blue... Me jealous... I'd so much rather be there right now... :)

My first ever trip to any really tropical destination was to the Maldives in 1996. Three things are still very vivid in my mind.

1. The heat
2. The colour of the sea
3 The mindboggling number of different species on the reefs. More or less the first thing I saw I when I snorkeled on the first day was a whopping big manta ray. I will never forget that.

Smallz, you look red. I thought you guys were use to the sun and booze living Down Under?

And yeah, that color of the sea reminds me of the Cook Islands. Amazing colors there as well.

1996, one year after my birth:D

Ofcourse, our country has changed a lot since then. Much easier to travel around too, though it's still rather expensive:ouch:

Another photo, I'm the one at the end of the sandbank, my dad's the one up close:dopey:

That looks like a great vacation destination. Where is your country located?
Never heard of the Maldives before...

Found some old camera lenses and resulted I had an adapter. Friend was over so we tested it out a bit. Result is fairly hipster
