I can grow a decent beard for my age (@Ken Koios was proud of mine!) but cannot maintain it due to a clean shaven rule at school.

Anyways, I'd recommend anyone in the general vicinity to stay clear.

Pfft, I still only have to shave once a week, and still get ID'd buying alcohol over a decade after being legal. Like Martha says, it's a good thing.

I never shave. I just trim the stray and stubborn hairs with a scissor on the part where I want it long, and the rest of the face I trim with an electric thingy with a 3mm comb (or whatever it's called). Haven't actually shaved for 10 years or so.
Still, my beard growth overall is nothing to brag about. They grow FAST, but there's not nearly enough hair on my face as I wish I had.

It takes me around half a week to for my mustache to become noticeable. It takes me about 7 more days to get everything else on the face going.
