Also, while we're on the topic of stratagy, I had a thought, what if you could buy two types of fuel. A quick burnign fuel which adds more power or a slow burnign fuel which lasts longer but doesn't have as much potential power. Any ideas?

There has been pit stops in GT, GT2 and GT3. So why not GT4?

I have seen brief footage of the pit-stop animation on G4TechTV.
It was still 2d sprites for the crew, so it was probably something mocked up for Prologue.

Adjusting spring rate at the pit stop? I thought that was a pretty lengthy process... Tear-offs, well, 95% of the cars are closed cockpit but who knows.

And of course there'll be pit stops.

Off topic: Do you think they will add two more cars to keep up with the current F1 points system? Or will they just use the old 6 car point system?

Bingo, another 'detail' people might appreciate, nothing substantial.

2 more cars is probably out of the question but there are few certainties. If we only get 6 cars I imagine the old points system will stand - or they might go the whole historical nine yards and use the 9-6-4-3-2-1 system F1 used for so many decades.

Well I'd actually like to see it, make things a bit closer, 10-6 is no longer realistic so why not drop back?

It would make it closer, you'd probably have to finish one more race to get out of a championship which would encourage more racing and consistancy.

I hope they award you for all golding a championship... that way you wouldn't want to drop out of a championship with the last race left... also would add some more replay value!!

Either that or they could just make it so that if you drop out of the championship then you forfiet your chance of winning it... regardless on the amount of points you have!!

Nah, for two reason - apart from the fact it would piss me off a hell of a lot, it's unrealistic. Why? 1970 - Jochen Rindt dies at the Monza Grand Prix, aged 28. He already has a considerable lead in the world championship. Jacky Ickx falls 5 points short despite winning 2 of the last 3 races, leaving Rindt the sport's only posthumous world champion.
