I've spent some time this morning fiddling around with some streams testing audio settings. Those who've been watching the past couple of weeks can expect a higher overall volume for this week's events. Commentary should be loud and clear but not drowned out by engine sounds when bumper and chase camera views are utilized.

I had a few minutes to kill this morning. I can do 26's with mild tuning. This car is pretty cool in how dynamic it can be in the setup.
I was on with onespace and rad and managed a 26:5 hoping to hit a flat 26 tomorrow with no school

Hitting the 1:24's consistent after only messing with spring rate and running 10 Laps

Attn Drivers:

The following regulations have been modified to help with race starts and improve stream show.

Reverse Grid Procedure * On both races, when the race starts we will run at a safe pace (around 62 mph 100 kph)
    • Either series director or one designated by the series directors will call off the grid order
      * Everyone is to get in position when your called, failure to do this will result in being placed in the back
      * We will run double file with pole being on drivers choice 2nd on the other side 3rd behind pole and so on
      * We will go green when green is called but there will be no passing the row in front of you until the start/finish line.
(Being in the second row of 3rd and 4th you may be ahead of 4th but not ahead of 1st or second)
Passing before the line will result in a 3 point loss. (Side by side into turn one is bound to be tight and have some battles, this is fine, the 3 point rule is to maintain a closer start and keep people from taking advantage of the rolling start)
      * Weaving will be allowed but remember this is all saved and if you take someone out you will be placed in the back and given a 3 point deduction

Not that it matters, but I topped out at a high 25. Just not good enough.

That brings me to a curiosity. I wonder if tuning for a controller user is just a band-aid making up for the lack of good control rather than actually making the car perform better? @HazardLvL4 wanna test my setup to see how good/bad it is? Just for fun.

Sure broski, would gladly drive your setup and see how it is. PM me the whole thing and I will try out it tonight after work. I will be using my T300 RS.

I will say when I look on that setup site for a basic start point I never choose one made with a controller :)

I was on last night with @SGETI and was able hit low 25s on medium tires. Thinking I can possibly hit high 24s on mediums on a lucky lap. Which probably puts me into the mid 23s during qualifying on a clear and lucky lap.

Guessing my race pace with fuel will be 25-27s.

Will test fuel consumption and soft tire longevity tonight :)

So both races will be started on a formation lap and rolling start?

That Sauber is beautiful! Best looking car so far. Much better than the Williams.

Just went on another date with this crazy b****.
One minute she holds me tight giving me all the love I need, we are a perfect pair, then split second later she is holding a knife to my balls with an evil joyful grin on her face, taunting me, saying, I'm in charge and don't you ever forget it for a split second.

While on mediums I did have a dream lap of 124.9xx. Most laps were 125.2xx - 125.6xx. The ability to drive 13-15 laps accident free with worn tires in my opinion will be the winning combination. I have yet to accomplish this feat.

So just out of the blue this popped into my head and I wanted to share it because I have always liked this since the beginning but over the years he has just blown my mind with his voice. Something about it sounds just soothing and exciting to my ears at the same time.

There are several versions to this one but this one was done at our local radio station one morning back in 2009. I remember I was driving and listening to it while they were doing it. This guy is just so good live...no processing, no background tracks or vocals to hide behind. Have a listen and enjoy...

I hope you're talking about the caaa. If not, send her my way, sounds like my kind of woman. I did have a crazy B.... like that, sweet as apple pie for three weeks every month, but the week before the curse hit......look out, psychowoman. God, I loved that woman.......for three weeks at a time. Aero met her, she was soooooo bad in a good way.
