Porsche DLC coming - First post updated with Car List

So, if you were t10, tell me, why would you include porsche from the start or wait til fm5 to put them in, instead of waiting half a year into the release, and making tens of millions of $$$?

Maybe they could do both. If you don't want to pony up for Porsches in 2011, wait until the next one comes out. Provided Turn 10 takes the nece$$ary precaution$ there's no reason FM5 shouldn't have Porsches at launch.

I just don't get this hostility towards them for selling people something they want to buy.

the modelling is new, so is the sound, so is the interior, so is the handling.

If you are happy with Forza 3 it's up to you, all Porsche are going to feel much more alive in Forza 4 and for that, it is totally different as an experience.

Nobody knows what Porsches are coming. All we know is the date this DLC is dropping and some details regarding it where 23 of the 30 Porsches are from past Forza titles and 7 are new to the series.

Badned only makes poles for cars that will come to forza much later.

1964 356C
1965 Carrera GTS (904)
1970 917K
1988 928CS
2010 918 Spyder
2011 918 RSR
 
I made this video some time ago. It was fun, the racing not making the video. lol. Every since FM4 made it clear there would be no Porsche I couldn't bear to look at it. Now with FM4 getting Porsche back today was the first time I allowed myself to look at it. My team was the last team showcased in the video ;) Infact my car was the last car showcasing what position it came in.

Well, the Porsche I'd like to see are:
  1. 2012 911 Carrera S (991)
  2. 2011 911 GT3 RS (997)
  3. 1998 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 (964)
  4. 1971 917 K (Le Mans winnier, held the distance record until 2010)
  5. 1973 917/30 Spyder (still considered to be the most powerful car built for circuit racing)
  6. 2013 918 Spyder
  7. 2013 (?) 918 RSR
 
The following would make me happy.

997 gen.2 GT3 RS 3.8 (better livery than 4.0)
1995 928 GTS
356 pre-A speedster
964 RS
993 Targa
New Boxster S
 
No love for the 911 GT3 Hybrid? I'd like to see that one in the pack!

Haha, well, yeah, it is somewhat of a special car, isn't it? I mean, the 917 generally held some records for a while... And the 917/30 especially.
 
I really don't mind paying $20 for the Porsche DLC since it's the only pack I see myself buying.
 
Well, thanks to the M$ store deal, I was able to pick up another year of XBLG and 1600 MS points for $48. Plus the 400 points I'll get from XBL rewards for renewing makes the pack something like $10.
