I can't see why it would be so unlikely. Yes, it's an expensive car, but at the same time it's not really expensive enough that having slightly more upper-class parents couldn't make getting one achievable.
Sure, the parents can afford an S3, but at the time of that post, I believed he bought the car himself. That would be unlikely.

I kind of hope that the one behind isn't an indication of what the one in front is going to look like.
The one behind is not finished yet, everything is still unpainted but it will be body color. Also, that grill is not the grill that I will be using.

EDIT: sorry for the double post.

Currently in the process of redoing the headliner in my car, and I've come across this:

At some point in the car's life, someone scribbled 'Speedy' onto the roof. I have no idea when this happened; it could have been the previous owner trying to be funny, or perhaps it was an in-joke at the plant where the car was built. Who knows?

Can I get some honest opinions? I'm starting to save for new accessories for my car. I have a few wheel choices I like which fit the OEM specs.

MSW Type 28 (Matte dark gray)

Anzio Spark (Machined face/black accent)

Reviews for both sets of wheels look good, but I honestly can't decide which looks better.

(Whoever mentioned Tire Rack before, thank you so much!)

Top one looks the best, IMO.

Final HPDE event of the year for me...NJMP Thunderbolt with Chicane - NASA NE - DE3/DE4.

Kind of bittersweet, this was supposed to be a 3 day event and on the morning of the 2nd day, 2nd session, I had my first serious mechanical issue with the car in 3 years. It's not as bad as it might have been. I thought I was suffering a catastrophic transmission failure but it turned out to be a broken spring in the clutch (not even the clutch itself). It's an uncommon but known issue with the '13 twins. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason, either it happens or it doesn't. I'm just lucky I now have a trailer or this might have been ugly. Still, it was a bit disappointing in the sense that it was a gorgeous weekend with near perfect weather and I feel a bit cheated and how much track time there still was to be had. At least NASA doubled up the groups on Friday and I had about 3+ hours out there, which was very enjoyable.

The car will go back in the shop next week and along with fixing the broken spring, I'll be installing a safety cage, racing seats and 6 point harness, so that I can start wearing a HANS next season. It's LONG overdue.

And here's the DE3/DE4 field ready to go out (without me) :(

Preview of the winter setup that I'll be using in the next few months. I just put on one side to see how they look.

Oh and I sold the Geo. Got about what I wanted so not disappointed.

Why else would I ask that. Everyone I talk to at car meets loves it so I am just wondering why you guys do not like it on here.
It's a matter of taste. While the people you may have spoken to like it, some of us on here don't find the car (well, what you've done to it) all that appealing. To put it bluntly from my perspective, it looks rather riced out.

The two tone color (black middle, white sides) just gains attention, but not in a sense of liking it. The hood vents, unless functional, is adding a lot of style to something that's suppose to be subtle and elegant- and style in the sense of doing too much. The canards are also rather obnoxious; they look great with a body kit on some cars... but mostly standalone it's not doing you or the cars any favors. And the spoiler- I love spoilers, but in this case, it sticks out too far. A lip spoiler is fine, but nearing duck tail levels only works on certain cars for me. The rally wheels are subjective based on wheel preference, so I'm leaving that alone.

That's just based on my style of doing cars up. A few others doesn't seem to like the mods either. But keep this in mind: it's your car and you do what you want with it. You don't need our opinions if you're gonna do what you wish. That's why I asked if you really wanted an honest opinion from me. The people on here have different tastes versus the one you met. But based on a few people's opinions I've heard about your car, it's not going down well anyways.

The hood vents are functional as well as everything else on the car, I was getting too much heat on the track and they should help. I respect your opinions, but the car is still a work in progress and I am not doing a two tone, the hood and trunk are going to be painted the color of the rest of the car. Believe it or not I am making this thing a track car.
