Bro... You just made me buy a 4mil cr car with the hopes of getting 5:42, you were clearly tuning and racing with the 905 '92 peugeot not the 908 '10 that the OP says you were racing with.

A 908 can't have 650bhp and still have 650pp.

ACTUALLY, he is an incredibly expirienced driver
who knows nurburgring in the back of his head. Clearly you have not seen the previous posts in this thread. And who cares if you bought a 4mil car? You should've already had that car in your garage already. ;)

Actualy, i did an error while typing on this, that tune is for the 905 you are right, the '92 should still have make you wonder if its the 905 though,

and i said this in post no.109:

-Audi R10, 5:48 good power(shift early, no power on top end...) but poor turn-in, tune to turn-in and it will be hard to exit low speed corners, tune for stability and it will understeer...

It can do better on a very clean laptime, but i doubt it will go under 5:45
If you dont have the 905 im sure someone can put it on share for you, and you can try it vs the lineup with the GT-R Concept LM Race car.

I beat the McLaren F1 GTR on technicality (6:27.482 after draft + bump). With a perfect lap or moving up to RM/RS tires I'm sure this can be won without drafting at all:

sick driving on racing HARD tyres!!!! really nice time!

Btw, how you guys save this movie? ( how to cap it aswell?)

True, racing tires can actually be better than softs in so situations. Cars that have more HP i use hards. Nobody tries mediums though

So you aren't going to remove his 908 time? Even after he said he made a mistake?

I never said i did 5:42 with the 908, the mistake is the 905 tune at 5:40.

Exactly, since you made a mistake (on post #133) and said that you got 5:42 with the "908 '92" (no such thing), MrSpark added your time (5:42) as the best 908 time posted here. Unless you can get 5:42 with the 908, your 908 time should be removed from the list in the first post.

I'm not questioning your driving expertise or anything, I'm just trying to get a misleading error fixed.

Ok, i just seen where, i am not arguing about the 908 time :) It doesn not run 5:42, i did 5:48, it can probably do better since the lap was not super clean, but not 5:42.

Its just a typo when i posted the tune of the 905, my bad, the time should be replaced by 5:48.

The 1st attempt with the 905 '92 was 5:42, then got it later at 5:40 with a cleaner lap.
The 908 dont have as much Horsepower at 650pp but does have lot of power, the problem is its handling.

so your saying, sometimes racing hard give more grip then soft? :o
ok i really need to try that out, i have the isf also and i'm doing 6 mins 25 over the ring at the event..... so kinda slow compared to you, didn't dare to post it, becouse he does the same time on racing hard

No way hards give more grip than softs...

Can you explain? Because I have never hear of this happening

Soft tires always provide more grip than Hard tires it's as simple as that. Drag racers with soft tires will get you MUCH faster 1/4 times with hard tires.

So if I understand this correctly... in a straight line, hards are faster, but when you have turns, like the 173 on the ring, softs will always be better

Softs will always be better in any situation, but they wont last 173 turns. Hards will give you slightly less grip but will last you about 2 laps around the nurb. If there is no tire wear use softs.

Actually, from the endurance races, I know that the hards last 3 laps on the 24h course, and softs can be pushed for 2 laps (with the last couple mins being a bit shakey)

Depends on the car's power. LMPs with softs on the 24h course....1 lap and 3/4 of your tires are gone.

that car can go much faster, my friend drove yesterday online with me in his ass chasing him a 6 mins 18 secs. on the event you have to pass some ppl aslo etc and its a rolling start while we had a normal start.

try to train a little bit more on the event with that car, you can get those 30 secs from it ;)

I still need to test it out :D
