Season Point standings / Weekly Race Results

Point system

Top Qualifier = 2

1st=20, 2nd=18, 3rd=16, 4th=14, 5th=13, 6th=12, 7th=11, 8th=10
9th=9, 10th=8, 11th=6, 12th=5, 13th=4, 14th=3, 15=2, 16th=1

incase of a tie in points after the completion of a season
the tie breaker will be determined by their # of wins during the season, if there is still a tie it will be broken by who had the best overall finishes, followed by the best qualifying times

example. If 2 or more drivers are tied for points, and one driver entered 7 races and one driver entered 6 races, the driver who entered the most races will be ahead in the final point standings. You might think, well hey, I had just as many points in less races, which might be true, but i am awarding dedication.

If you get disconnected or decide to quit during a race you will get a DNF and finish last.
if more than one person quits or gets disconnected during a race, your finishing position will be determined by the number of laps completed

Ok, go ahead and sign me up, Lancia Dark Blue #74.

Can I make a suggestion though? Knock the tires down at least to medium, I'd go hards, but with medium you at least prevent the super soft hack. That and the racing softs are basically a fantasy tire. From what I've read racing hards are equal to the softer compounds used in sports car racing. And the mediums equal formula one softs.

And where's Brands Hatch GP?

What is this "super soft hack" you speak of???

What is this "super soft hack" you speak of???

I've never actually seen anyone use it, so it may be a moot point, but it's where if there is no tire restrictions in a room then there is some hack that lets you use a step stickier tire than the game has available. I don't know if it shows a different type in the members menu or not. I've not really looked into that much, I'm just aware that it exists.

But more to the point though is the softs in this game allow more lateral g's than is physically possible for any tire in the real world. If you are looking to mimic how these cars were driven in the real world you would have to restrict it to sports soft or racing hard. Racing hards being the equivalent of qualifying/cold track tires in sports car racing. There really is no car in the game that needs or should use the racing softs, imo.

I understand that the racing soft tire compound might be fantasy as far as grip goes, and I've never heard of that hack. The only thing i am trying to accomplish is for the cars to handle well. If i catch wind that anybody is using a hack to alter the performance of their car in anyway, they will be banned and blocked permanently.

The league will now use racing hard tires.

I would rather use racing soft, like originally planned, but i guess the racing hards are more realistic.

can we have a vote on the tire issue? in gt5 they had a hack for ultra racing soft tires. As far as I know hacks do no exist yet in gt6... and even if they did you can set it to racing softs only.

I personally would like to run Racing Softs. Just so it makes us pit more and plan a better strategy. Or not limit tires at all... So you would really have to plan it out.

up to you though... i don't see RS as a fantasy tire. I see them as straight up racing slicks... just please don't base your decision off some racing hack myth.

i was just thinking, it is a (spec) racing league, and all of the available cars exept one come with racing hards. We will still have to make pit stops regardless of which tire we use. I had originally planned to use racing softs, and all of my hours of testing were done on racing softs, i think itll be just fine on racing hards, and i have been doing some laps with racing hards, and everything seems to be easily drivable.

Sidenote @Mirado_7 i dont need that psn info, temp turned on my old flip phone lol
Well too bad, I sent it last night. But you will have to find your welcome message to submit it. Actually I think any ones welcome message will have the same link in it.
And I think I might use the PS3's crappy internet browser before I used a flip phone lol.

lol yea but my ps3 locks up when i use it, for about 2 years now

Since i have all the track testing done, would anybody like me to add the Formula Gran Turismo F1 car (limited at 500 hp) to the list of available cars as a pick for upcoming seasons???

Would be a fun car on certain tracks

f1 cars full power on huge tracks! I don't think I have ever driven one in. Since they killed F1 with the new engines in real life for 2014 we need to bring it into gt6 lol.

I will pic my colors and shoot a pic later today.

i love what they did to f1, the first race was fantastic all things considered. Its been way overdue, and although it probably wont be perfect, atleast the show is no longer just a 2 to 3 team showdown. Next week could very possibly be a very refreshing podium, as was the first race.

The safety part with the way the chassis and aero parts are designed cool... But over the years they just keep limiting the hp. I mean we just went from 750hp v8 that rev up to 19k to a 6 with a turbo that revs up to 15k and only had 600hp. I could barley hear the cars driving past on my TV.

The only reason we had a refreshed podium is because two of the top drivers cars broke down cuz of all the changes.

Check this short video out if you haven't already. It explains all that is new in F1 for 2014 without bashing on it.

I'm interested in this series. I'm getting into driving around stock cars. However if anything above race guards is available I won't be joining. It's not fun to go full throttle around the track all day. In all actuality I think it would be fun, and more challenging and rewarding to run spirt softs. But that's just me. I'll keep an eye on the thread.

im not entirely sure what you mean by " if anything above raing guards is available i wont be joining "
but i take it that you mean racing hard tires???
yes every season, every car will be on racing hards, and if you wanna join, please let me know so i can add you to the roster

Yea I meant racing hards. And that if anything stickier is used I won't have any interest. Sorry I have a paid app keyboard and the auto correct gets a bit ridiculous sometimes. Anyway that's great to hear. I'm gonna buy the car when I get home and test it out. When's the first race and how many spots are available?
