Soooo I don't mean to put anyone down, but what do you honeslty do with replays? Just sit and watch them? Or are you guys posting them somewhere, what is it? I've never had any desire whatsoever to view a replay of a race I had just completed. Just curious

Replays are used for creating Youtube videos, personal viewing etc.

This.

Replays are also indispensable tool for post race an time trial analysis/review/report ( crash, incidents etc ), I would say it's necessary for online league/championship

This.

  • In games with championships I like to know what happened to my nearest rivals in a race
This.
You can't move the camera between cars in the replays or get any telemetry or even positional information.

Yeah shifting from car to car and skipping from one lap to another is a MUST HAVE feature for any serious racing/stewarding

Really? <sigh>

I mean why would any racer want to review what happened to his competitors in an event eh? I'm 101% sure that no real racing drivers ever watch a replay of the race or have any curiosity about what happened to everyone else in the race right?

Also who would want to be able to watch the telemetry screen in a replay, I mean if you could do that you would be able to analyse it properly without trying to glance at it while you are driving. That would be completely pointless right?

Honestly these sort of decisions really detract from the enjoyment of a game for me.

Fernando Alonso once said, that after a race, he watches a replay and reviews what happened. It allows him to see where he went wrong and right and allows him to put the race away and move on.

Also, I watched two of my replays and both times I wanted to analyse the telemetry, mainly to see tyre temperatures.

Just to make sure you realise, I was being sarcastic.

Every F1 driver on the grid always watches the replay and has to endure hours of post race briefings where they analyse the entire race in excruciating detail.

Whoops! I picked the wrong post to reply to!

Did you look at the telemetry, are your tire indicators red right after the pit stop? Sounds like that darn pit bug where you re released with 4 flat tires. If its not that, maybe check your pit strategy and see if they send you out with a wacky tire pressure or something.

Sorry for the late respond but no I haven't checked my telemetry when I came out of the pits. Gonna do that the next time I attempt it. But this is just really frustrating. I never had this problem before. And I don't know a solution for it.

Here is me test driving the Audi A1. Man this is car is so comfortable to drive. I did like 10 laps in total after i got done recording:D

Although I thought the handling was fine and not particularly challenging, I struggled to find any extra power. It seems slow accelerating and not as fast as other cars in its class. There's not a lot of tuning available for it. Did you find the same? I didn't know how to improve top speeds and/or acceleration for this car, which is a concern during tough races.

I'm close to 400 hours in my career in my 16th season. I started in Karts and I'm up to GT3, with loads still to come.
I do all the regional championships and all races on 100% except for the 3 25hr races at the end of the season, that I change according to how much time I have.

The career mode will keep you busy for a long time.

Damn!

I started my first career in Karts, got into Superkarts the season after that. Then I was invited to GT3 for a season, did well there and I was then in LMP1. Maybe I will have to try again for a career with ''more'' content.

Project CARS must be making a fortune on all this DLC content! I mean, who could resist the temptation of the track and Audi cars! I find it funny that they have all the cool cars at a price and then the free car is a little Audi

To be a bit pessimistic, it's a bit poor that you have to pay more than what you originally paid to have the full first-day game, considering the Ruapana circuit is in the loading screen.

Anyways, I've done about 25 hours and still have barely tried any cars, not even all the circuits at all! So much to do in this game. Can't wait to be done with these god-forsaken Karts, I'm so sick of them at this stage.

Hardcore

I started a new career in Karts and did every race at 1% with 70% difficulty. I'm now in the Superkart world championship still racing everything at 1% but with 80% difficulty.

Hopefully I can skip to GT4 or higher. I really don't want offers from the Clio Cup or Formula Rookie.

I was also fascinated that the 2nd top finisher in the Kart One Championship moved up with me to the Superkart UK Championship. But he finished last in Superkart UK. Guess he wasn't ready.

What exactly do you mean by that?

I just think that, when you buy a game, you buy what's promoted on it. You shouldn't be expected to pay an additional five euro to have the content that was advertised for the game you already bought. It's just being a little nitty-picky, nevermind it!

It wasn't really promoted a lot of time before. They added Ruapana logo on the splash screen with the patch 2.0 I think.

I was just thinking... I've done 3 seasons in career mode, each time I've driven the Clios for the same team and can't remember getting an invite to a different team in the same series. Is this something that happens or no? I would love to turn out for one of the other teams.

Assigning buttons is really pissing me off, every time I change something it wont't let me save it and exit. It keeps telling me that not all of the required controls are assigned, but I don't have enough buttons for all of them!!!🤬🤬:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Since I use a BT keyboard in order to assign ALL controls, I don't have to worry anymore, but I think you have to assign KERS and DRS (not sure about the last one), even if you never use it. It's weird, but try leaving those two (or remap them), then you will be fine.

I found another way around it, it hit options, and reentered options and then exited back to the home screen and it seemed like it worked and all my settings were saved.

Don't know, but I drove three Clio seasons for the same team (did not know that the defending champ trophy needed a higher tier ...

Edit: typo...
