[PS4] MONDAYS - Look for us on Project cars 2Finished

Not buying another version
The GOTY version is actually on sale in the PS store at the moment*. Although it's a download there's still a little bit of a gamble on whether it'll work with your wheel. It's sure a strange problem you've developed!

* Thinking of buying it myself even though I haven't got a PS4 - yet.

I like this track, reminds me of some of the Lakes roads. Need a few more hours, too get it. In practice Al were set at 40, which was to hard.

Whats the best way, to drive this car, under steer, over steer, crashed and need to pit:ouch:

I really enjoy Bannochbrae and the track seemed particularly well suited to the car. Unfortunately I managed to get disqualified during the qualification session and therefore had to start from the back of the grid. I spun the car while trying to overtake the big Merc which is very fast on the straight - then I was too impatient with my spin turn and ended up suffering a head on collision with an AI driving an Escort RS1600.

Apologies for being a bit behind with the championship tables - I'll catch up with these very soon.

Did anyone see my psn message 2 hours before the race that I wouldn't be racing? Since You sent me a race invite I guess not. OK, next time I will post here as well...Sorry

No worries Skip - sometimes people post that they won't be racing then they do get back home in time - so I tend just to take any notifications as a guide rather than definitive info.

This morning I popped into Brands Hatch to check out the "Whelen European Nascar Series", had a drink on the Grand Prix terrace (Diet Coke) and met star drivers Martin Doubek of the Czech Republic and Iranian driver Sam Tehari. They were happy to explain about their cars and pose for pictures - very difficult to drive and see out of, but big power and no downforce makes them great fun was Sam's summary.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the races on Sunday because of family commitments, but wish these charming and very talented drivers the best of luck this weekend.

PS Lots more photos on the club thread.

Guys, I injured my back couple days ago, badly pinched nerves At least :boggled:. I am going to be seeing doctor tomorrow, and based on past experience with problem I am going to be down for a little while.
For sure I will not be racing tomorrow 12th, nor Wednesday the 14th, or Monday the 19th. I will aim for being back on track Wednesday the 21st.....as we say here "God willin' and the creek don't rise!".
See you all then...👍

what was hapend ?

i was 3rd in the race, behind simba.
flaco was 1st.
i saw flaco and simba crashing in to the wall because they both where laggy i think. so i overtake them clean so 1 was first now. in 5 seconds my screes goes to the beginning of project cars and it says "you have been removed from the session"

so why ?

greetings,

I'm sorry I might have disturbed some of you at ongoing race speaking through the headphones, but like I said, I'm out! Goodbye!

Edit: I Need a brake, it's not just this, I take a sabbatical from all social media and almost all Things online. There's more important Things to take care of. See you maybe in a month or two.

Cheers.

greetings,

My screen said that you disconnected. Before the race started someone was talking about their connection and the difference between the stability of wired v wireless connections - I don't know if that was you or another racer, but if it is possible to connect direct to the router by cable this will be more stable especially if other people in the household are using wireless devices.

That is a shame Flaco as we are very low on numbers at the moment and you are an excellent driver - hopefully you can come back soon with your batteries recharged and raring to go.

I had a lonely race. John qualified well and was ahead of me for a while and it was good fun chasing him, but when he lost some speed on a corner I was able to pull ahead. Unfortunately I could see in my mirror John spinning out and his comeback and battle did not materialise - better luck next race John.

The leading three drivers - Simba, Flaco and Jefaais were pulling away, which I expeceted as they were much faster in qualifying. Unfortunately when Jafaais disconnected we were down to just 4 humans and 7 AI. It was a great track for the car and the race was enjoyable even though I was alone for most of time. During the final lap I caught and passed the slowest AI driver which was a surprise as it is a long track.

We desperately need some more racers - I know that summer is coming which traditionally reduces numbers, but hopefully we will continue to get enough regular drivers to be able to keep racing. Projet Cars 2 is looking good and I am very much looking forward to trying this great track (Road America) with the SCCA winning Group 44 V12 E Type.

Was good race Sick, until I spun, would have crashed into you, had too go to the grass.
Then the Al tried to overtake, on the outside of the track, on the grass, straight/finish, hit the wall, bounced into me.

Thanks to jeefais who was, giving me some tips, helped quite bit, I need to drive more aggressive. But with this car, need to be smoother, I lost my rhythm though the corners, started messing up, then the Al.

Don't give up Flaco, what happened?

Just a quick reminder that it is round 5 from Brno tonight. The championship table will be updated after tonight's race - apologies for delay - have been a bit busy with other things. Until tonight enjoy this clip of Matias Russo driving a Ferrari 430 at Brno - he is trapped behind 3 cars, skip to 6 minutes to see them go 4 wide and Matias take the lead!

@John Wells no problem mate, try to drive more aggresive. in the warming up and qualifi you did it verry well john.
you making some progress this race!
keep it up!

Yes - as Jefaais said, great qualifying John - keep going!

Good race everyone, even though, low numbers, sorry about bump Sick.
Hadn't did any practice ether, I like Brno, we were all fairly close together at one point.
Then had off, then lost sight of everyone.
