I have been thinking of switching to GTE as well. Even tho I just love to race LMP but don't think I will make the qualifying laps count as I'm rubbish at setting quick laps over a short period.

I wanted to join another team but I don't have those cars, I'm short on credits, and I only had 1 hour to practise before my qualification because I'm gone on friday and saturday. And yes, I do find that enough of a reason.

Ya 908 team is officially overstacked not just amount of drivers, the quality too haha. Gonna get some more diehard practice in later tonight and tomorrow in the Toyota before I get my qualifying in. I've managed to hit a 2.09.054 with it. Think I'm still being a wuss at times with these Racing Hard tires.

Just hit 2.09.400, think I can reach the 08's but it will be tough. I'm pretty concerned about how the car handles once tires have worn to around 3 quarters of their initial condition though. During the Pre-Season race it was like driving on ice as soon as they reached that 'cliff', and the car would just spin at every low-speed corner, which is almost unmanageable with a DS3.

Wow, the LMP's are pretty much perfectly balanced, even with the tire wear, they all suffer just as much as the tires deplete so every one's in the same boat.

Yeah with a ds3 you needed tc. Throttle control is vital and you can't get the resolution with the ds3.

Thought I'd mention that the team's page specs for the cars were updated, i.e. toyota's new wieght is 1070, but the PP didn't get changed, should be 638 now instead of 635 with the new wieght regs.

Yes, TC allowed for all drivers and classes. Not like we can restrict it to one group or anything either (beyond looking at every one's settings on the roster list in-game).
