Im from ireland, i know any american that ive ever met or talked to always says "Cool, your from ireland im irish too my ancestors were from ireland !"

(Its nothing realy to do with the point but its anoying):mad:

I wouldent hate the american people, i just find them generaly egotistical and ignorent. This was my expirence of the american people (i traveled the states for a year).

However its a unique culture in the prospective that there is a group for everyone i.e computer geeks (me), car dudes (me also), football buffs etc.

Its just my view not that it makes much of a diffrence

You're right ...someone did invite your ideas on America. The problem comes in when those ideas are based on hearsay and rumors. These are things you would like to believe about America.
Unfortunatly for you that's all they are. I'm not saying we are perfect by any means. I think our government is too full of itself.(but what governments aren't?) I think we do on occasion have the attitude that we are the greatest. (who doesn't?) We have a bad habit of helping other countries when they ask for it (and sometimes when they don't) even though we know they are going to spit in our face after words.Yet we continue to give them the lifes of our young men and women. We also have a terrible habit of giving more aid than any other country in the world to those in need even though they "couldn't care less for America"

So we aren't perfect and IMO that's Ok. We are here and we have a pretty good thing going reguardless what the rest of the world thinks about us. It may not always be like this and maybe it shouldn't be. But for now I can't think of anywhere on earth I would rather live and raise my family. Super powers come and Super powers go but that's not what makes a country great. I live in America and I'm proud of that fact. We will (IMO) always be the greatest country in the world. If you can't say that about your country then maybe you are living in the wrong place.

I don't think I've ever met somebody who has skirted the issue, refused to show evidence, and refused to reply to particular points as much as you, not to mention your poor typing and grammatical skills and your pathetic nonsensical personal insults.

Your lack of any kind of debate skills, formal or informal, scare me, as this seems to be the norm of the troop of America-bashers (which is actually okay since they're easy to defeat in discussions). The vague terms you use scare me more because you think they're actually answering the questions I've asked.

Any logical person can poke hundreds of holes in your non-factual arguments, though it wouldn't matter because you wouldn't respond to any criticisms directly anyway, not because you don't know how, but because you know you're losing the argument.

I'm ceasing to reply to this thread because any logical person can see I've made my point and debunked another illogical America-hater. Be warned, if you continue spouting your opinions, and refusing to back them up, you will be shot down time and time again, as you were this time.

Iraq has never co-operated. They have given the illusion of co-operation on occasion. Remember that he has attacked another country before and he admitted paying car bombers and their families when they blew themselves and innocent people up in Israel.
Although I have to agree to a point on the US forcing democracy on other countries. That's something a country should do for itself providing it's people have the means to do so.(and they rarely do) Don't look at democracy as a bad thing though. It gives the people who live in that country a voice in how their country is run.
