That's the thing: I can't figure out how to save my PSD file as a DDS. I see others uploading regular picture files. If I save it as something like a PNG are you able to convert that?

You could save the file in a common image format (JPG or PNG), open it up in Paint.net (which is free to download here) and save it as a DDS.file

As @RACECAR said above, I can do it in Paint.Net, no problems there 👍

What *is* a problem is following: no matter what the 🤬 I've tried, whoever is to start in 2nd is, for some reason, put 11th on the grid..

In the first qualifying session using the new, improved format, RACECAR manages to be the fastest overall in Q1 and is now favorite to take pole position.

Starting in Qualifying Group 2, he set a time of 1:45,945 - one of only two drivers below 1:46!

His nearest competition was AJHG1000 (1:45,953), who was the fastest from Group 1.

Me!? Eliminated!? ... This is some sort of witchcraft, it's extremely accurate! :lol: Though it's cool to see my livery at one point in the video. I might try and darken the base colour. It's too bright.

@rallymorten How are you putting the skins in game? Because I can't figure out what to name the DDS file for GTR2 to recognize. Usually it's something like PORSCHE_996_GT3RS_BODY1.dds, but when I name the DDS as that GTR2 doesn't pick up on it. Though it picks up a Maserati MC12 skin I did ages ago with the same method.

Edit: I just want to know what font are you using in the part it says "P.Harsk +A" (should be A+, BTW)

The image size of your livery is wrong, so I decided to fix it

You really need to learn to work on layered templates, your concept is great and see how it looks when worked on layers :D

I just need the logo with the N and the S, below the Mobil 1 logo

And one two of them are not in the list of tire suppliers. I tried to keep it identical to Harsk's image.

Let's wait for him to say something about it, (He's probably sleeping right now).
 
Gee, this' ll be as busy a day as when you discover your assignment is for tomorrow:

1: There's half a dozen previews that needs to be done
2: I need to find a solution to the Watkins Glen problem (I may have, at ten to midnight.. it involves quite a bit of reverse psychology)
3: Hopefully, I'll have the race review done with as well

Also, as I've said before, the filetype and name of your skin is pretty much irrelevant. As long as you don't change the size, it's possible for me to do what I need to do 👍

I'm actually trying to make my skin work on my GTR2, but I won't nag at you because quite clearly... Well, you're busy. :p

No rush, I just wanted to get mine out there - was trying to save you the conversion step but couldn't figure it out. I like the way my design came out and just want to make sure everything lines up right. 👍

Oh, I see..

Long story short, you'll need GEditor, a folder for everything related to your car and some Notepad skills.

I learnt mine from this, and there's videos out there explaining it as well 👍

Also, unhealthy amount of preview images. I hope you' remember your own livery :D

Now, for the news:

1: I have, somehow, solved the problem with Watkins Glen, for this test race. It's unlikely we'll return there, as this has just been an insane amount of frustration.
2: The race has a 95% chance of being released within 24 hours. I do take reservation for unforeseen events that may delay it.
3: The last car in the preview images is not eligible for entry in competition yet, as each car cannot be supplied by more than one tire supplier at a time.
