Why has nobody mentioned this? You can get Porsche snow chains for $780!

I'll have to be on the look out for those next winter here in Utah. The number of Porsche's and other high end cars are the ski resorts is staggering, the oddball even ends up there too. Last year I saw an R32 Skyline at Snowbird.

I don't know if they're legal on North American roads but if they're I'd strongly recommend a set of these or equivalents. Obviously won't save you from stupidity and they're easily more than $780 but I remember there was a comparison test between different snow tyres with chains as a wild car on a local car magazine a while back and chains didn't do very well compared to the tyres.

This post made me look (again) for a Mazdaspeed equivalent, (again) to no avail. Either I'm just bad at internetting or its harder to find than catalogs for other manufacturers. Where do people typically find this stuff?

Also, I really like that wing on the R33. Its like that one Nismo S15 (S-Type, or something like that).

I just picture someone buying a brand new R32 GT-R in 1992 and ordering the whole Nismo catalog for it... back in the day that'd probably be worth something like half of what they paid for the car!

I found a them on tumblr blogs or searching the internet.
I found Nismo ones on a tumblr blog- http://hirocimacruiser.tumblr.com

Are you kidding me?! Good grief, Google. The search "90's Mazdaspeed factory options" didn't turn up anything but more modern Mazdaspeed offerings (dispite having 90's in the query), and same with "90's Mazdaspeed options catalog". You'd think the latter would be close enough.

This? All gold. The MX6, the FDs, that ridiculous-in-the-best-way Roadster C-Spec (I was reminded of the existence of that from the Searching for Evidence of Hidden Things thread for GT2). Exactly the kind of stuff I was trying to find. And I actually stumbled on that Hirocima Cruisers page, but didn't go looking too far there. Definitely should go back and give it a proper look-see.

Not sure if this would be considered rare, but I've never seen one myself. A recent article on Autotrader reminded me of Nissan's Skyview roof. I honestly don't remember if I've ever seen one in person. I thought it was a cool feature on the Quest, though I kind of thought of it as a way for parents to bake their kids in the sun.

The Maxima one was interesting. Don't think I've seen any of these either.

Its a Maxima piggy bank! Jokes aside, I wonder why they didn't just opt for a standard sunroof or some kind of panoramic jam. Besides cost, obviously. That opening just seems too narrow to do anything.

From the looks of things, either it didn't last long (as in only certain year models) or there was a normal sunroof option alongside the Skyview. As I do see those normal sunroof Maximas around.

The Skyview is what you got if you didn't want the power sunroof. All of that generation came with one or the other, but Maxima's were usually bought fairly well equipped so it probably was less common to not have the latter. Much rarer would be the four seat Elite package:

I stand corrected then. Never realized it was actually something standard on those Nissans. :scared:

The Panoramic roof on the OPC makes it super desirable, especially in bright red. I recall seeing a previous gen OPC in Nordschleife pictures with a panoramic roof, too.

Just installed these SW20 MR2 cup holders. Also installed the factory tape player for the OEM look.
Not the best photo of a brochure but it's the one in the top left with the blue can. I now have 2 options of a lot. The other is the frunk tray, the black thing over the space saver wheel in the middle right.
