Hopefully the guns don't **** out as fast as they did in Far Cry 2 (but I've seen fan theories bandied about that in FC2's case, it can be said that the guns were knockoffs)

I think Rockstar games will get it right. As much I loved the FC2 weapon jamming it was annoying.

I like this sense of Immersion to be honest.

Not surprising to be honest. Don't imagine this includes DLC, I expect its total size will swell over time.
Would definitely recommend getting a hard drive upgrade if you haven't already.

Edit: just noticed it says 'minimum'

Didn’t think I was going to see something bigger than Forza 7’s 98gb game so soon  kinda makes me a bit glad to see that to be honest, should be a pretty hefty game.

I don't even know how much room I have...

turns out I have over 300G open, so its all good

I’ve just created a community on PS4, dedicated to this game, or at least the online part.
If it’s going to be anything like GTA:O, we could all use a way to find lobbies with friendly players. Or at least semi-friendly. The community is called “GTPL RDR 2”.

New gameplay video tomorrow 👍

I have a feeling this game is going to take over my private life. I guess I will need to find a surrogate for my wife and kids.
I can't even get it right away and I will lose a lot of time watching other people play it on YouTube.

Haven't got around to watching the video yet but I saw on Twitter that there's an FPS view, like the one they had for GTAV? Oh god yes.

This looks insanely good, I'm definitely considering buying it for the PS4, I just won't play it nearly as often as I would if it was on Windows. I hope they announce soon if they are planning on a Windows release some time in the future.

Agreed. It looks like a fantastic game. Hopefully GTA Next will look as good and expansive.

I am planning to pre order (digitally) the game. Which edition would you recommend is worth the money?
Standard 69,99
special 84,99
ultimate 99,99
I have no idea if those bonuses are worth it? I have bought some games with season passes, but you pay for future DLC content. I have bought Horizon Zero Dawn with pre-order bonuses once, but the gear you got as a bonus were not worthwhile at all and ended up never using them.

I just get this feeling of withholding content so they can get more money from you.

So any thoughts on which you are buying?

Depends on whether you plan on playing online much. If it follows GTA5's business model then the only DLC content was/is for the online version.

If it's more like the first RDR with the Zombie story etc, then it might be worth while if you really must play that content when it first comes out. This kind of add-on tends to get heavily discounted some months down the line, so you may end up paying much more to play it initially if you get the Special or Ultimate versions. IMO.

That was my understanding, but there are extra missions and even ingame cash as bonus. And to be clear this is not a season pass, you are paying for bonuses and some additional content and not for future DLC.

I liked Red Dead Redemption with PS3 and will get the RDD 2 for PS4 as well. I did recently read 105 GB demand from hard drive so I also decided to get set of RDD2 + PS4 Pro with one tera drive.

I still have 4k TV to buy some day, but I guess - since this is car game forum - you guys might have experience what kind of boost some driving games gets over old standard PS4 with new PS4 Pro?

I have Project Cars 1, 2 and Dirt Rally.

(Sorry, that my comment went bit side track from RDD2 :D )

I decided on the middle ground an preordered the special edition.

Graphics mainly. They can't exactly do much seeing as it's largely the same console.

Go on, please!

Does it effect better on frame rate? I've wished occasionally less stuttering with Project Cars 2 when cars nearby and it's pouring down raining.
If Pro verison does help on that, I'm pleased.

On the Pro you do have graphic setting for PCars 2, dont know about the regular PS4 though. You can chose between resolution, detail and framerate grphical settings. Have not tried the framerate setting in pouring rain though.

Will there be graphical settings like these for RDR 2 on PS4 Pro?

I think I'm going to preorder this next week, it just looks too good to wait. I was going to get FH4 first but I'm still playing 3, so I think it can wait awhile. RDR2 was amazing and this looks even better.

I agree... I don't usually pre-order but I wasn't able to resist RDR2 (for X1X). For FH4 I subscribed to Game Pass (for my PC) - a month should be enough for me as it isn't a type of game I play indefinitely.

I usually play Forza games until the next one comes out, rarely do I go back and revisit the last title (Forza 6 being the only recent exception because I wanted to drive the Toyotas), so that is why I want to finish up FH3 before moving on. I'm just about done with the Hot Wheels DLC 83/100 medals, then I will finish off Blizzard mountain before buying FH4. Of course RDR2 may put both of those things off. I can't imagine I will play much else once I get it, that's the type of game you immerse yourself in completley.

Wich version did you guys preorder? The standard version? I decided on the Special edition since the ultimate edition's bonus's seem to be online focused.
