I realise this is a long shot, but has anyone seen a Porsche 993 GT2 car with either a Konrad Motorsport or Roock Racing skin released? Or even a Le Mans mod that covers any of the 1997/98/99 years. Did some searching myself but didn't really across anything.

Don't know if anyone has played it here, but I used to love playing the Le Mans 24 Hours game with these cars, and ever since I have been hooked on that period of Le Mans, especially the Porsche.

I also only know WSGT for GTR², great mod (although the Gran Turismo skin for the Ultima GTR is horrible :D). Fantastic car models and sounds.

Short lap onboard with me at Lime Rock Park! :dopey:

It's a little choppy because I capped Fraps at 30 FPS accidently :P

Biffy
Yeah I signed up there a while ago, managed to find a LM 1998 conversion from GTR2, the models aren't very good but I can make do.

Do you have a link for that mod by any chance?
I'd like to try it out.

What original rFactor files? It shouldn't overwrite anything (unless you have other plug-ins like it installed). Have you dropped the three files (only the files, not the folder) into your main rFactor folder, where the .exe is located and do you have the game running in DX9?

EDIT: Here's another comparison by the way, no Photoshop (L on / R off):

I D/L the original BigSilverHotdog plug-in, thought I would use it first then use your settings. It said to remove specific files and back them up, which I did. Then it wouldn't run.

Hm, never used that plug-in because I thought it looked horrible on the screenshots. Never mind, delete every file you downloaded with the BigSilverHotdog version (in case you forgot which files that were, unpack the download again somewhere else) and install my version again. Don't remove any other files though, the ENBSeries plug-in won't overwrite any original rFactor files anyway.

And if that still won't work, post a screenshot of your rFactor folder and all the files in it.

That's most likely a part of the other ENBSeries. d3d9.dll's are plug-in files (ENBSeries, TVStyle, XD Tool etc.). Usually the plug-in name is also included, but just back it up.

Oh and don't make a file back-up folder inside of the rFactor main folder, make it somewhere outside of the installation, just in case.

Going to bed now, so a new reply will take some time. ;)

G.T.Ace, I must say what I've seen so far is impressive, love it. I will try it on different tracks and mods, awesome so far. Great work mate, thank you!

So...can someone drill me on how in the heck to host a room.
Has anyone on gtplanet ever hosted a room in recent time? Love to know how you did it.

Open the required ports in your router as indicated in the hosting guide PDF in rfactor\support, go to 'connect' section in rFactor, ???, profit.

hehehe. Iguess i should have mentioned this earlier. I opened all three ports in my firewall already, set the number from 0 to 1. I did it all yet no one could see my room. Three of us each tried it and none of us could see each others rooms.

Do you think you could help us host a room Sharky? Ive tried everything in my power...

Ha, great to hear it works and that you like it. :)

FIA GT3 2010 mod from SandroX & Gpfan on Salzburgring '09 from Com8, plus the ENBSeries and the game almost looks like a modern title.

OK, love it!

2 issues so far:

1. Indeed using the FIA GT3 2010 mod at Lime Rock Park, the screen blinks (or flashes fast) to the point yo can't really drive. This was not present in the other few tracks I tested.

2. My Map plug-in and car data are disabled on the HUD.

Is there a way around these issues? If so, maybe there is a thread you are running where you can point me to. I want to use your plug-in, would hate to give it up due to these factors.

Cheers

Readme dude. ;)
If the screen flashes, press (left)CTRL+F to activate the FPS counter. This will stop that strange bug. Regarding your other plug-ins, please tell me exactly how they're called or point me to download links, maybe I'll be able to update the plug-in so they work, like XD Tool.
