Look I'm all for quality over quantity, and I don't mind having to wait for a product, if I'm informed of the situation from the start.
Maybe scammed was too harsh of a word to use, but I have no idea what size business Rino Industries is. I see that they have been around for at least two years starting with the G25, and now have a new product, so I believe that does not make them a newcomer. I'm all for the small business owner to have a go, but just come out from the start and tell us where they are with the product and what we can expect.
Though I personally believe that the price for the GTR is very reasonable (going off video footage of the product), it is still a lot of money to send somewhere in the world to trust someone to get your product (no different to Ebay). As CPA said, if I was informed before purchasing that there would be delays for what ever reason, and gave an exaggerated timeline for delivery ie, 2 weeks - 8 weeks, well I'll be more accepting or at least be able to make a informed decision as to whether this is the product I still want to purchase knowing the correct information.
I appreciate that Renato has stated there are issues with packaging and customs etc, this was 3 weeks ago, but tell this to customers in email, and not assume we are on forums. I personally found this product on YouTube by chance and then made contact via email.
We were late with the first deliveries due to problems in the packaging and protection. Now each pipe in the box has a plastic protection. The new redesigned box now allows easy opening and closing. It is important for customs inspection. Therefore we temporarily stop delivery, but now it is continued. In attachment you can find a few pictures about that.
For the record I still would have purchased if I knew this, but when your informed on a quote of a certain delivery date, you kind of expect that to be honoured. Like I said, put an exaggerated timeline on the quote or at least explain your situation in the email.
Renato, I'm far from trying to bad mouth your company or your product, just asking for better communication. But in saying this, you can't say there isn't enough time to answer emails, when you seemed to have found the time to find this post on a forum and reply. Priorities please.
Putting communication and delays aside, once we all receive our Rinoseats, as Renato said, "First reviews will prove that this is one of the best cockpit on the market". That I do believe!
