Rinoseat - What Happened??

I got some news from Renato!

Basically, he were on travel in Europe, to work with some distributors.
He will be back in Croatia for the next week, and will try to answer over the 1000 mails he received during his travel.

someone should tell the Rinoseat person(s) about email autoreply options! That would at least know that someone is still working at the company.

And does this company have a auto-email reply feature when people send in a query? If you go through this thread you will see many posts stating they get no replies or extremely delayted replies to their queries. Not trying to be combative just hoping to help Rinoseat and customer relations.

I have contacted Fanatec support and I must say they have an excellent support as long as you follow their rules wich is as follows

In order to help us to process your request quickly you will get a higher priority if you follow these rules:

Please...

...include a copy of your invoice (pdf) or order confirmation (e-mail) so that we have all order data

...write down the product name (s) and serial number (s) (can be found on the bottom of the product)

...do not send to multiple e-mail addresses . The request will only be processed if e-support@fanatec.com is the only recipient

...make sure you always include the full email history with every e-mail you send to support.

...make a video of your problem. Please send it directly by Email or u pload the video to www.mediafire.com . Please try to keep it small! If we can verify the issue t his will allow us to send you a replacement unit without waiting for a return of the product. Please do not use youtube or a similar service – we will need to download the file easily!

...make sure you have a problem which is not described in the FAQ

...read the manual. Sounds trivial but 20% of requests could be avoided if the user reads the manual.

...list the following info
Tested operating systems or game consoles on which the problem occurs
Tested games which show the problem

Only if you follow all of these rules, your request will be handled fast and smooth. Thank you.

i haven't seen any more reviews or updated on youtube, other gaming sites etc...
i don't think anyone is getting them....

i am new in the forums...
a friend of mine ordered fanatec gt3 rs v2 yesterday and I , myself, have written an email to info@rinoseats.com. we thought about picking those things up ourself, since we have car....

i live in austria, right between rinoseats and fanatec ;) , i could also drive there and get those things, IF i receive proper answer from rinsoseats or fanatec, that i could pick up those goods myself.
i have written an email to rinsoseats stating payment-methods, shipping-fee and items in stock!

perhaps i can help out someone here... since we are planning to drive there.


i also have lots of tickets and paints (GT5). looking for gold chrome, chrome or 67er birthday ticket... *gg* PSN is big_brumey


received response after 20 mins:
"Hi,

Yes, the T500RS version of the Rinoseat GTR is ready (see attachment) and it costs 299€.
We can send you next week on Thursday."

Wow so back orders....

So whats ur point... yea this guy is having a difficult time getting his ish out. We know THAT.... it's still the best product at that price you can get. Like I said someone needs to help this guy out not fkn criticize him.
 
Hi Guys,

Nine days ago I received tracking number from Renato and today I received my seat - it still seats in the box and may stay like this for some time as I am in process of moving houses but I will make some photos tomorrow of the box itself.

Probably I will not resist the temptation and will build it in next few days :)

I don't even play the ps3 because of this, the steering wheel gathers dust and has halved in price since that was purchased!!!!

I do feel for the guy. That's a very frustrating situation.


My only advice, don't let these guys be who ruins the wonderful world of SIM Racing for you. Request refund. Save for another set up.

The people who have been waiting on this forum get them and promise to review or update then bam! No longer hear or see a post from them again.... Or am I getting paranoid ?
 
Yes, there have been posts saying they have received them, read carefully each post in the previous pages.

They do have a nasty problem with delivery times, though. I'm thinking they can't keep up with the demand they have for the cockpit, I wouldn't say it's a scam.
 
Just sent Renato an e-mail asking various questions and how long would it take for him to ship my order, in case I decide to buy one. Let's see if I get a reply, as most of the customers who did buy one, seem like they're being ignored.
 
So, it turns out that he replied to me, with all prices and all the answers to my questions. Dunno if I'll buy it though. It is definitely the best cockpit design I've found, but I don't feel like spending this much money not knowing when will I get it. He said in the e-mail he would ship it in 3 weeks. Seeing all the posts here, I do doubt thay.
 
I love the looks of this cockpit, and I would love to buy one.
But not after reading about the wait time and ignored e-mails.

no company should take your money until the item has shipped.
 
Wait you guys already paid and still havent recieved your seats? Why are you guys not screaming from the roof tops. I sure as hell would. 7 months with no seat thats just crazy. I think you all need to get your money back and find a more reliable seat manufacturer. Yeah its a nice seat but it isnt that nice really.
 
First time post guys.
I have read your comments but still decided to place an order. The seat is good plus no one is suggesting Renato is crooked just a bit tardy lol.

Anyway my experiences with him has been okay, a year ago I enquired and got quick responses.

Same this time, I emailed him for current prices and got a same day reply. I them checked on immediate availability and he came right back staying I could get one from this week's production run.

So I paid on Friday and got confirmation of the receipt of funds on Monday and a promised Wednesday shipping date.

I'll keep you posted as to when I physically receive my seat.

I do hope that he can get some financial/production support to help grow his business, it would be a shame for all us Sim racers if a great products die for the lack of funding support.
 
So you dont see a problem for a company who takes new orders for a product they cant deliver to already paid customers. There is also not a problem if they do send you one next week when there are people who have waited months on theres. Im not sure I understand your logic here. I think they supporteed this guy plenty hes got there money. Then he took a vacation. (Must of come into so extra money.) To me it seems he might of bite off more than he can chew, but hes still biting so how do you feel bad for him.

i too emailed him months ago when ppl were waiting for theirs and he gave me the exact same reply, 3weeks lol this was months ago and the same ppl still seem to be waiting now like back then.

its too dodgy i'd stay well away if i were you
