Road Car to beat Veyron's Top Speed record

I am trying to tune a ROAD car to beat the Veyron's record. So far I tried the TVR Speed 12 and only got to 242 on SSR7. What car have people used and how fast did you go?

I think the Cadillac Cien Concept can give the Veyron a run for it's money. But I'm pretty sure there's other threads on this topic.

You going to go full purchase on it? I mean max engine upgrade and either turbo or supercharger on it? If so, I've gotten my Viper ACR up to 250, and I don't remember what the top speed of the Veyron is.

I've tryed that. It wont let You go over like 243. Maybe if I was darfting it would go faster but I'm pretty sure its stuck at 243.

With a good draft you could probably get that car near 270 mph or higher. But you've got to have a very fast car, well ahead of you so you have plenty of time to build that speed through the draft.

Sorry but if you tune the veyron I've hit 262 mph and that was without fine tuning. I'm sure you can push it further.
So I guess the the tuned veyron is faster than the veyron. In a fair test you have to tune the car you're testing it against too.

Yeah but the mclaren statistically should hit a much higher top speed tuned. Do its much much lower weight And its more aerodynamic. Whenever I get real internet if someone would like to help Me try and get my mclaren to that fast let me know

THe target would be the Bugatti Veyron SS top speed record of 267 mph. It does this on it's own, so no use of drafting. I agree I thought the Mclaren could do this fully tuned since it already supposed to do 241 stock. My TVR ran into a brick wall of air at 243 with 1027 HP.

The W12 Nardo can't get over 260 mph. Without drafting and by minimizing downforce and tuning the transmission I can't even hit 250 mph.

The TVR Cerbera Speed 12 is a concept too. A fully tuned CIEN Concept and Cerbera Speed 12 will outrun a stock Veyron with no problem.

The W12 Nardo isn't as fast as the CIEN or Cerbera Speed 12. Fully tuned the Nardo has less than 850 HP and it's speed is more comparable to a fully tuned Murcielago.

Speed 12 isn't a road car, it's as much of a road car as Maseratti MC-12.

Nothing came close to Veyron from what I've tested.

I did read they made only one Speed 12 that was street legal. But I agree it's not quite a road car, and there seems to be a bucketload of downforce in the tuning settings that are preventing me from going faster. What about the R390 GT1 road car?

The R390 GT1 Road Car only comes with like 345 HP stock and has 722 HP fully tuned. Great handling but can't come close to even a stock Veyron in straight-line performance.

Why do you mean by beat? Like speed? Or in a race?

I've heard the Cien is fast, the ACR possibly, my SLR and Enzo are fully tuned and my enzo hits 140mph with 850bhp.

140 is a rather low number considering thefact the enzo is 200mph+ car stock.
