because its not about the exp and Cr. its about the racing. :) i guess we can always hope they alternate out a bonus event now and then to give us some fat cash lol, i sure wont mind it at all. But its far from a necessity for myself
Unless, of course, the A-Spec leveling system is preventing you from racing events you want to do. I've been looking forward to the endurance races since launch but the only way to get to the 24hr races is the endless grind, and for why? It's really incredible how quickly the enjoyment of this game drops off after level 25.

Typically when the word challenge is used it is accompanied by a challenge! Not amused... two weeks for these PD, really?

im fan of gt series since GT1 but i must admit that you have right.
im not in a hurry to complete the game but from level 35,5 ( im stuck) the level 40 is in the far distance.

Thank you very much PD for these events, and for going above and beyond what we payed for, you'll get no complaints from me.

how are we supposed to afford the good cars without BORING GRINDING NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TO HELL PD.

Overwhelming sense of 'meh' with these events.

The XP system and economy in this game are out of line hugely.

That remote B-SPEC upgrade would come in handy now!

We are due it anytime soon I thought? I heard it was coming in February, maybe later in the month though.

Well, the remote mode surely would be helpfull to get the cash for those ferraris. But I will not put my expectations too high...

How many times are you going to post this same post?

As i told you in the other thread, no one will listen to you other than to tell you to "STFU" if you dont post with a bit more thought.

I don't even know why they waste development time on B-spec, how about fixing A-spec first... 💡

I find it absolutely hilarious that people are getting criticised so heavily for voicing a perfectly reasonable & understandable degree of disappointment at this particular batch of Seasonal Events.

It's particularly funny that such complaints are getting the blame for putting off new users from joining this forum.

I can assure you, the sneering attitudes of the fanboys blindly defending the grind, shouting off at anyone with a dissenting opinion is far more off putting to 'guests' than any number complaints that people have been made regarding these events.

Not only are you attempting to defend what is a totally obvious gulf in the balance between the effort required and the reward that you receive, you're desperately and pathetically trying to make a virtue out of the endless grind that is required, which is not only funny, but also deeply tragic.

Good luck with your 1000+ laps of the Indy, if only it was as enjoyable as you like to pretend it is.

gt5 is a game, games are supposed to be fun. if i want to grind ill play final fantasy 7

But I imagine you want real life physics and graphics, oh and real life cars, but when they don't throw insane amounts of money/exp for a 10 minute race you complain...now I would consider it to be real life rewards.

Oh so this isn't a new thing...

I want to point out 1st I love GT5 and this is about the online side of the game

For most I dont think its about things been handed to us on a plate from the start more that we'd like a reasonable chance to get things

If im level 25 but used my money already on cars and dont have any I want to sell so have say £10,000 and my friends are racing an event of the same cars that I dont have say the FGT I have to grind Indy 44 times (220 Laps, About 2 and a half hours not including the 9 UCD updates to check) just to get 1 car, im all for long life gaming but that is just plain stupid!

The alternative is Trading/duping which when you look at it seems a far more viable option

Could they not have bumped the credits up on some of the final seasonal races but also upted the restrictions and difficulty so that the starting seasonal 7 races were low credits low difficulty and the ending races high credits but very difficult???

Its not rocket science PD even if you took 6 years to make 1 game!

exactly my point but in a far mote constructive manner

👍

"These are not the droids you are looking for."

There's nothing to complain about here. Amar's statement is the pudding in the pie.
And besides Kaz himself said when these events opened that the insane money/xp was just a holiday gig.

Well, let's get optimistic. They are improving. The actual game is far better than the initial version, and we didn't had to pay for any update. How many of us have spent hard earned euros (or dolars, or whatever) in games much worse? I guess that they trully hear their fans and get things done. Ok, some things done, others not...

But aren't these seasonal events 7 much better than the previous? At least there is variety and it seams easier to make them a balanced challenge.

just had my first go at the new seasonal events, What a joke !
I did the first FR race at deep forest raceway, it says the typical opponent will be in the 295 hp range yet the car with the least power has 314 hp ,so i enter my 1979 nissan bluebird sss with 230 hp for a laugh but i am in the lead on my 3rd lap with no assists ,abs 1 . Great challenge PD really got my moneys worth out of that one . Why can't we have a difficulty level to chose from and maybe a start where the leader isn't half a lap ahead at the start of the race ? AI stands for "artificial intelligence" but in GT5 the opposition should be referred to as AG "artificial granny" because that is how the drive, slow with no regard for anyone around them. When are they going to get this right ,soon i hope.
