They keep doing things without letting people know. Yes, they are excessively low. First they got delayed by a week (so now we have 2x Seasonals) with one hundredth of the reward. I loved going on shopping sprees after Seasonals. Can't do that anymore, time to go grind again. Going to be my first grind session in almost 1 month.

When Seasonal Events started i was amazed at how much credits you could win but given the requirements they had for the races the payout was worth it. Now seasonal events lost it zeal when the took off requirements, it became really easy to win the race and a lot on credits. They seem to have did something "good" as to lowering the payout but they still need to bring back the requirements because that what made the race fun. If they do bring back requirements they should up they payouts. Paying 100K for a car to win 1M? is ridiculous in my books. They should balance things out like put requirement that makes up spend like 200k and in return you win 400k. Sounds fair enough. The payouts for SE7 i think is fairly neutral.

Well, like someone else said - PD fail number 2milionsomething (can't remember exactly). Not only they get you to buy an F1 car which costs 10mil (o more for the 2010 model), but you only get like 1% of your money back after getting 1st place. Not to mention xp is way below what you can get just by completing dream car indy over and over again. For me, that I'm past level 30, these events are pure waste of time, and even worse, it doesn't tell you how much xp you could get until you finish the race and you actually get it. Pathetic

The only way to please everyone is if PD just simply removed the EXP system, EXP gone and no-one moans about anything.......maybe.

Nobody would moan about not being able to buy cars due to the XP. The money, that's their problem, can be handled. XP can't. It's an excessively good idea because it would get rid of XP grinding, but not $ grinding.

Its more content. Are you just really upset that PD isnt giving you millions of points so you can get from 35 to 36?

Wow, I'm amazed at all the people crying.

Guys, remember when the first two seasonals came out which were actually very challenging? You complained about those being too hard so what did you expect!?

For how easy these races are, if you don't use self control to make it challenging, then the rewards are fine. What I would like to see though is races like S1 and S2 in terms of difficulty and restrictions with the high payout.

I felt great earning gold in those first few seasonals and we had great discussions on tuning for those races. Bring those back for the hardcore/serious racers!!

Ps, sorry if this is a wall of text, I'm on a BlackBerry and paragraphs don't seem to go through when posted.

You people are funny.

I actually enjoyed these events. Its easy enough to make them challenging by using a stock car (you should have SOMETHING you can use if you've been playing for a while) with Sport Hard or Comfort Soft tires. Maybe with slightly less HP then required as well.

However the payout I agree does kinda suck, while the prior payouts were a little excessive, these are just way too low (XP and credit wise).

BUT

Instead of throwing bigger payouts on what also would have worked is maybe giving a level X car ticket for winning all 3 races. Like maybe a level 5 for the FF, level 10 for FR, and so on. I think I'd be happy with that.

HP limits removed, people moan
Events stop, people moan
HP limits come back, people moan
12 new events, people moan
Rewards lowered, people moan
people moan, so people moan (including me here, now)

I love these new events, such a great idea, letting us pick a car is a great idea. Fantastic work PD. I applaud thee.

The first 2 seasonals: YES they were challenging, but YES they were worth racing, YES they were worth buying special car for and YES the reward was brilliant. What PD has done is firstly, make that pile of cash and xp too easy to get ("no restrictions") and secondly, decided it was to much of a reward so they nerfed it rather than actually bringing difficulty back.

Yes! :dopey:👍

Never bloody happy

There were quite a few posters last month lamenting how large the cash reward was for so little effort, as if they needed to do more to 'earn' it...

I don't understand the urge to lvl up to 40 all of sudden. To unlock what?A 24 endurance race you'll never play, then moan about the lack of saving during races?Heck you can even buy all cars except x1 at lvl 24.
Imo the latest seasonals are just fine. All they need is a little bump on the rewards or some restrictions here and there to make them more challenging.I also think PD could include a reward system according to which the money and xp earned would be proportional to your level.

I only got the 1st place money for the Ferrari F1 challenge so I'm guessing that they're now repeatable.

yes they are. I repeated one of the FF races and got money again.

I'm lvl 40 bspec and 35 aspec, I'm going to do the 24 hour races but I don't want to do them more than once. I need some way of getting xp, online races barely give anything and now the seasonal events don't give that much so it'll probably take me years to get to lvl 40 aspec without grinding. I hate grinding, I haven't done it and won't do it. I don't care about how big the payouts are but I'd like to see more xp and maybe a recommendation on what car and parts to use to make the races more competitive like they originally were.

People on this forum need to stop telling others how they should be playing the game. Even though most people on here will never hit 40, many will.

At least the complainers are finally complaining in a complaints thread. :)

Please keep it out of the other threads, I understand your complaints yet don't need to hear them since I don't agree, thus I won't check this thread again.

AI stands for "artificial intelligence" but in GT5 the opposition should be referred to as AG "artificial granny" because that is how the drive, slow with no regard for anyone around them. When are they going to get this right ,soon i hope.

sounds a bit like the b-spec drivers!

I don't care for big cash payout's, if I need money I'll run Like The Wind a few times I would however prefer larger EXP rewards all I have left is endurance races and I'm not going to do 9hr, 12h, and 24 hour races

Only thing i can complain bout is that the payout for the F1 race is alittle low, i just spent 10b+ on the car for it, and get 400k back:P But heck, i LOVE the new sesonals. A tru joy to do. And i for one, want MOAR! MOAR challanges, maybe some with cars as prizes, if only unusable fantasycars, like a lowrider or a crosscart:P

Anyone got a Ferrari F1 I can borrow? I am trustworthy and honest; you will get it back.

A crazy idea would be to base the payout on whether you bought the car or not already.

So, you spend 625,000 on a Schwimmwagen. Your payout for the Schwimmwagen seasonal event may be 800,000. (net 175k, in this case)

or

You receive the Schwimmwagen as a gift. Your payout for the Schwimmwagen seasonal event should be 175,000. (also a net 175k)

Then you have incentive to do the event, and there's no monetary advantage for duping/trading. That kind of structure isn't hard to do, as long as each 'car object' sets a flag in its code indicating how the car was obtained. Everybody gets a fair payout for their expenditure.

Is there a reason you've posted this 3 times in 3 different threads? Please don't spam the forums. Thanks.

i started a thread about this and it was taken off topic and closed ,one of the posts said that there was already a thread that this should be in ,i didn't know wich one to put it in so i posted in both . not spam just wasn't sure which was the correct thread.

Honestly, I was wishing for another big payout seasonal event like #4,5, & 6 because I wanted to PURCHASE and TUNE cars with the money. Instead, we get an event series aimed at n00bs. How about they do half and half? Half n00b half BIG payout?

SE7 seem ok to me. Only missing the FF event though.

Even though I had to spend 10mil credits on a F10, I liked the events a lot :)

With the big EXP-Points payout of no. 2 race of the F1 challenge I'll be level 33 faster than I had expected :) ... not to mention I'll recover somewhat quickly from the F10 purchase :)

Okay i don't understand why people are flipping out over this. This is the first week we don't get a big payout and everyone loses it. I for one am happy for the previous seasonal events paying out like they did because now I can buy a F2010 or whatever it is called (Also I missed seasonal event 1&2&3). Who knows maybe next week they will toss something different at us and give us more XP and Cr. Everyone is just jumping to conclusions and saying this is how things are going to be from now on, and you know I could be wrong too and things will be like this but I doubt it. Also people need to stop pretending like they MUST do the seasonal races. You don't, no one is forcing you to buy a Formula One car just decide on your own, wait till next week till new events are posted. Anyways I'm off to complete them myself now.

I am a little dissapointed to be honest. It could be much more challenging OR it should pay out much better. For every Player whos worked his way up to level 30+ is going to be pretty bored by it. For every "new" player this is a little better because it keeps the normal a-spec mode a little more interesting.

But bla bla bla. I was looking forward to the new challenges throughout my whole working day but in the end I am really dissapointed.

Sorry, just my personal opinion.

okay I think it's safe to say the events that had million dollar prizes were the best ones hands down :D

lmao, i was just asking myself the same thing about this guy.. He must really want his whining to be heard.

I'm not as concerned about the money(which doesn't give you all the amounts for each place if you finish 1st), but the rediculously low XP. How the hell am I supposed to rank up without doing endurance races for the rest of the time I play this game? I'm at 88% and only have Endurance races left to beat. 👎

I agree but what's the rush to get the game finished?

If the games enjoyable .. who cares if it takes a thousand races to get to level 40 100% .. it's only 3 races a day for a year then it's GT6.. well perhaps not :)

I may not do the endurance races my self.. but I love the on line lobby races.. good clean fun..
