at least they could have made an official announcement no matter what the reason is...but hey, they delayed the release date of GT5 so many times, a 1-day-delay in the seasonal events is somehow the least we could expect from them.
An announcement like the one that's been up for over a week, stating that Seasonal Events will be released with a +/- 1 day tolerance? You do realise this means that the events aren't actually late until *tomorrow*...

i'm horny

I really need the seasonal events to come up, been trying to grind to level 30 but its pointless

Over 400 watching this thread... God damn, breaking on seasonals, it approves it's success.

I have all the cars of the collectors dealer, damn!!

@hornet_burnout

wich car is that your in avatar?

In Portugal that was Datsun 1600. In other countries the Datsun b510 (I think). Which is the closest thing in the game to my first car (that I still have), a '73 Datsun 1200.

In the game it's the "Nissan Bluebird 1600 Deluxe (510) '69"

I hope its a eiger rally, can't stand the point to point random rallies with the mentally challenged co-driver, this aspect really needs tweaking haha.

Maybe we will getting a update or some new DLC instead.
Its about time we had a few fixes last update was Xmas time.

Sure we will know soon.

+1! The guy serves no useful purpose, as the pace notes he's reading from have not been explained. I can get the distance, but the turn numbers don't seem consistent and they don't refer to much of anything - it's not gear, as there's a lot of "7" turns and I'm not often in a car with 7 gears...

In a real rally, the driver may well never have been down the track before but the notes will have been written in a manner than explains to him the track in terms that he has previously agreed and will understand!

Wups, forgot about that. Probably they knew there would be a delay in this one but didn't want to say why...party, patch or whatever. Until 4AM then (its 1:32 PM here now, GMT+1) no need to be pissed off.

****, now I'm 4 days without my PS3...so I'll just have to wait until I finish my short holidays. Anyway, hope the wait isn't just "because of nothing". Hope there is a surprise, don't care if its DLC, update or just a different, funnier seasonal event.

Rally turns "1-7" is a scale. i.e; 1 is a major or hair-pin turn and 7 is a slight bend.

The lower the number the tighter the turn not rocket science...

I thought the co-driver was using the universal man signal for pointing out hot chicks to the driver.

Co-driver "7 left"
Drive "Nice spot bro!"

The delay is likely due to the addition of the "GT Drivers Club" events they are starting this time around, that include the much-missed race restrictions.

phew thought it was only me that signed on to find no seasonal events, but OCD updated it shat me up a bit phew.

Haha

It always makes me wonder what PD could be doing. They would not be writing new code just to update the events, it would just be a matter of selecting options from lists. What could possibly cause a delay?

I wish we could someday get a real behind the scenes look at PD. I've no idea why such things have to be a national secret.

Rumour has it that the next update will add motorbikes (remember Tourist Trophy?).

It also states the following:

"The long-awaited racer, which has been delayed into later this year, contains over 800 cars - 200 of which respond to face-tracking using the PS Eye"

Bad resource I recon

Cars and bikes should be two seperate games. Why in the world would you want to race a bike against a car! The cars will just ram the bikes of the track xp.

Well, I think a race between a car and a bike would be pretty awesome.
