Hmm that's true, for all this chatter about seasonals being late, they are scheduled for 4pm GMT on Thursdays. Hopefully PD delivers, with a patch!
 
I believe the update will be am not pm,so 12 more hours!

If they stayed appart from car racing (so we had car racing on one side, bikes racing on the other), it wouldn't be such a bad thing. Tourist Trophy was pretty awesome...

Well, tomorrow never dies. Hope non of us does neither while we wait for the new events, so we can enjoy them.

Did that sound as creepy as I'm thinking right now?

No idea. PD mention it in the news section that they will start it the next time they update the events. This is what they say, posted on Jan 25th:

"Additionally, we will kick off the start of GT Driver's Club, a series of exclusive race events with unique requirements and special prizes; keep an eye out on the News section for all future GT Driver's Club announcements"

Doesn't absolutely say they will start this during the next seasonal event refresh though, it may be part of the next version update.
 
According to the announcement the update would have been yesterday at 9 am my time. So the plus/minus a day disclaimer puts that today in about 30 minutes.

For the purpose of accuracy, there are no bikes in Test Drive Unlimited 2 at the time of the release.

There have been SOME rumours and talks about them earlier, but at this point nothing is yet decided.

This thread REALLY cracks me up :lol: some really funny comments on here. When the seasonal 6 events updates where announced last week it did say +/- 1 day!!! for the next set of seasonal events. The way people are going on about it here anyone would think its been a week!!! already! I am as eager as anyone to see seasonal events 7 but people really need to chill out lets see what happens within in the next 24hours 👍
 
I for one, would whole heartedly welcome PD to develop a Full Motorcycle game , Superbike, Street, Enduro, Motocross, and throw in some 'snow'mobiling for some challenge . All motocross games to date absolutely have not enough realism, or terrain sensing immersion. PD, will you pls make a motox game?

And didn't we learn from the past ? When PD says: thursday 4pm (+/- 1 day) it always means: thursday + 1 day = friday 4pm !!

It always makes me wonder what PD could be doing. They would not be writing new code just to update the events, it would just be a matter of selecting options from lists. What could possibly cause a delay?

I wish we could someday get a real behind the scenes look at PD. I've no idea why such things have to be a national secret.

What delay? There hasn't been a delay. I'm assuming you're one of those people who claimed GT5 was delayed 8 times before it was released, right? If there is no update in the next 12hrs and 20 minutes, then the update is late. As of now, it's still in the release frame given by PD.
 
I'm going to get a refund. I can't believe that they haven't updated the seasonal events yet.
 
Lots of Rally Cars in the Online Dealership, hopefully some rally events coming although the rally tracks in GT5 aren't really exciting.

If you want to get technical, the thing says Wednesday 10AM (my local time) +/- 1 day. Since they give an exact time of 10AM (as opposed to saying "Wednesday +/- 1 day"), the only time range this encompasses is Tuesday at 10AM through Thursday at 10AM, so they have about 12 minutes left.
 
Why are some peoples dweeping for motorcycles? Give us more damn tracks and a track creator.
Reading this thread make me realize that not many people have anything more to do in Gt5 than grinding or eagerly awaiting the new (and repetitive) seasonal challanges. So give us more content! (i'm even willing to pay for it through dlc).

So disappointed that i already (and the game isn't out THAT long) repeating the same races on the same tracks........

Even if they fix some flaws, the available content is still way of current standards (look at the event list in FM3 i.e.)

I think a lot of (semi-hardcore) people honestly are just looking for a quick XP boost so they can try their hands at the infamous Vettel Challenge. I know I was excited when I was a Seasonal Event away from being level 30!

Yawn, the A.M is a clear typo, seeing as update 6 came out at 10pm your time last week. Look at what time the events end, 10PM your local time. When an event ended, that's when a new one always started.

No its a fact it is late. Should have been on at 10 pm for me last night. The event 5 is gray now and only 6 is playable.

They were sure fast on removing credit and xp bonus, but are sure late when it comes to doing something good for players.

Oh well its a beautiful day out!

They removed credit and XP bonuses? I'm still getting 108k cr per Dream Car championship b-spec.
 
I dont get it?? Its a bit late so what whys everyone getting so jumpy about it be glad that they're even bothering with the seasonal events..the other option would be for them to think "well all these people do is moan about the free content we're producing for them **** it we wont bother anymore"

I for one am more then happy to wait a few hours over the odds to get more free content

All the other events have started and finished at 3.00AM my time which is 10PM EST, so it is highly likely it is indeed a typo.
