Just wanted to get it out of the way for anyone viewing this thread who for whatever reason can't check themselves.

Edit: Same with Lancia event. Don't have the anniversary pack cars though >.<

The Audi R18 seasonal event is also easy, I just got a 2:07.240 which is about 8 seconds quicker than gold on my first try.

It was only logical, yes. Hope is gone. PD has once again failed to deliver... Although the seasonals ARE out... Just not the promised one...

An hour? It's currently 29 hours since January 1 started for me and 42 hours since the new year rose in the east. And it's not released so that's still an active counter.

Actually I would love to see this because I truly believe no one from PD has actually played this game.

I understand this is about the seasonal events but do you not think that the Red Bull event will also be released at this time. I truly believe that PD meant Jan. 2nd like the scheduled release of the seasonal

They are out, you might need to restart the game.

They could make the seasonal events show up a week before hand and stay locked until the starting date, that way there would be a point in displaying the starting date in the active events.

It's turning over on 13:30 Jan 2nd 2014 for me. Still no RedBull Events despite clearly saying, "Coming Jan 1st 2014." Didn't know April Fools rules applied on Jan 1st of every year… oh wait, Everyday is April Fools to PD.

These were assumptions, not guarantees. We made an educated guess, but we were wrong.

GTPlanet is fairly depressing these days. It strikes me as deeply illogical to spend as much time getting worked up about a video game, something which is supposed to be an enjoyable, relaxing activity, as many GTPlanet users do. I feel like it's more because of the modern gaming industry and gaming community than anything else.

Sure they screwed up. Who knows if there was a tech issue that popped up.
Everybody needs to chill a bit. Remember it's a game and there are far worse problems in the world than a most likely minor delay to a game update.
