Nitrous oxide IS USED IN REAL LIFE IN AN ACTUAL SINGLE-SEATER CIRCUIT RACING SERIES..

However much you don't like it (for whatever reason) it HAS real-life applications on real-life cars that really race on real circuits.

Do an internet search for "Formula Palmer Audi".

And again, "NOS" is a brand ("Nitrous Oxide Systems") and not a chemical compound.

Why do people keep saying it's the worst thing ever and it's only used by people that can't tune their engines?

MG's concept XPower had a Nitrous Oxide system pushing the car to well over 900bhp. Yes please.

Nitrous Oxide, from NOS itself, NX , PowerTech or any other company is just a boost "gadget".

People watching movies like The Fast and The Furious and it's sequel think they are going to press a button, and their cars will have 400+ horse power for hours, are completely wrong.

Another fact is this system is not good for normal cars. The nitrous oxyde can destroy your engine if you don't give at least some engine tuning. Replacing pistons, among other stuff is , at least for me, mandatory before installing nitrous oxyde.

And NO, i don't think that would be a good adition to GT4. GT series always gave us the best part of racing. Setup the cars, tuning the engine, testing new parts. On it's own words, a REAL SIMULATION.

For NOS, just go to other good, but arcade-ish games like NFS:U, Midnight Club2 and others.

Just my opinion though

k, this "NOS Button" is annoying the hell out me... THERE IS NO "NOS" button! It's a switch to allow the Nitrous to FLOW, not turn it on. It kicks in when you floor it, not when you repeatedly hit a button fast and furiously...

and I'm indifferent about including it or not.

Disclaimer: I'm sure there's a config for a button of some sort, but 99% of the cars out there use the throttle cable.
